Just watched the interview. My boss reads this forum so have to say sorry but I could not wait till lunch to watch it Ill make it up ;-)

I have given AS $hit in the past on here for his communications but that was a brilliant interview. Clear, concise and explained a lot of stuff in layman terms and while it didn't really tell us anything new it left me feeling much more confident in my investment and the long term future of Avacta. The confidence AS shows is quite infectious.

I said from the start I was initially drawn here for the covid play but over the past 10 months have added repeatedly and now intend on holding much longer term (although I will slice at some point which seems sensible). Interviews like this tell you what the company is really about and immediate covid related revenues are a speck in the bigger picture IF things come to fruition.

By the time my kids are 18 (5 years for the eldest) If everything goes the way I hope I expect my holdings in Avacta will mean I can help them out in ways that I could not imagine before (first car, Uni fees so they dont start life in massive debt etc)

Avacta real does feel like a beast in the making for investors and in terms of what it can do for the world particularly in the cancer pipeline. The only problem I have with the interview is AS made me want to buy more shares and payday is 2 weeks away yet!! DAM you AS you hooked me again.

I was having the exact same thought Timster. I did get as far as preview order on selling some as I think it will be back at £2 to rebuy but didn't have the balls to confirm so will just hold haha

Testing is not going to go away. In a years time do I think the world is going to need 10s of Billions of tests - No. Do I think the world will still need 100s of millions of tests - Definately. Thats the reason mologic and avacta are working on the next gen test they want to be NO1 when the demand does inevitably reduce in the future.

Also throw in that not everyone will take the vaccine, the vaccine is not a 100% guarantee, the virus will mutate, the testing market is bigger than the UK you can see testing around for a long long time

I was surprised to hear nothing about testing from Han**** or Marr. I think although a spike in the morning the SP is likely to be more muted than I expected on Friday. Slow and steady wins the day I guess.

BBI home page says 15 million per year but I would be shocked if they had not or were not in the process of expanding this. I expect the true number is significantly more.

Abingdon I am not sure although reports said they can produce 'millions per month' and were expanding.

Not in the next few years in my opinion but who really knows there are so many variables. £50 would value the company at around 12.5 Billion I think. That kind of valuation feels a long way off just yet but we can all dream. Lets walk first and hit £3, £5, £10 ;-)

Sensible StarBright. I am more excited than I usually let myself get as it has been a rollercoaster the past 10 months I have held but the sensible/miserable side of me keeps saying "until its in an RNS or there is an official announcement calm yourself boy" ;-)

If the positive coverage continues over the weekend my guess would be around 20% up maybe 25% on open so about £2.20 - £2.30

Turns out it is some creative wrting and we are back at £1.40.

If Innova can get approval I dont have many doubts avacta and mologic will to be honest and I am usually a little bit of pessimist ;-)

A nice thought rich but can see a target price of 230p if that figure was per week, just seems to be a really conservative calculation as PL75 says. Although you wont see me complaining if we are selling 15m per week I assure you ;-)

Those LFT figures seem low. I would be expecting significantly more than 15m in 2021
