True AJ but this line from the RNS always drags me back to the thought:

Again just speculation while we wait ;-)

One situation I can still see is where it may be mologics test that ODX produce in terms of the actual LFT BUT with affimers inside (branded as DHSC). I cant see it been the test Mologic developed themselves unless they have greately improved their S/S.

I am not going to lie if there is no test by the end of April I would not be a happy investor but like I say I am 99.5% sure that will not be the case.

Talking of fannies here's Mortgage with his flippy floppy views.

Another unpleasant day IF your a trader. Asked myself 2 questions:

1. Do I still seriously think this will fly past £3 maybe even £4 before the end of April and even greater heights over the coming months?
Im 99.5% sure it will.

2. Would I genuinely buy more shares tomorrow morning if I had the cash?
Absofeckinglutely I would.

Conclusion: It will all be good. Avacta WILL release a test regardless of what the fannies here would have you believe and they will sell a $hitload of them. Would it be nice if the RNS was this week? sure it would but it will be just as nice if its after Easter too as the end result will be the same.

Two options then.

1. Suck it up and hold to your research
2. Sell some or all of your shares until you are no longer scared

Its funny watching all the fannies come out of the woodwork to have a cheap shot. Mansion jokes when the sp is £2.30 and AS sold at £1.80 make you look a right melt.

Thought all along that the RNS will be next week - I will be a bit disappointed if its not but a small part of me thinks it may be the week after as the RNS said AROUND the end of the first quarter (seemed a little ambiguous to me when released probably just a way to give themselves a little breathing room)

Anyway my mum gives me my pocket money on Monday so if its around this price and no RNS I will be able to top up 4 shares.

Avacta on the rise can mean only one thing...........ODX are getting an RNS.

It was bound to drop on no news no real surprise.

Still maintain that £2.40 - £2.50 is the base until the LFT news drops.

Signed in November 2020. Mologic release results of their test and CE mark it December 2020.

Ok fair enough. Don't sell to the government then. The Germans were paying £15 - £20 a test sell them all there.

At the end of the day Avacta is a business. I am sure they want to do their bit to help but AS does not appear to be the type to bend over and let the government completely shaft him when he could sell for multiples elsewhere unless there is another benefit to selling to the gov for a really low price. Just my opinion

I am not 100% sure (not had enough coffee yet) and someone can correct if I am wrong but was it Stifel that estimated Avacta would take 35%? If this is right and if the mid single digit price (for sale to gov for example) is accurate at say £7 that means Avacta make roughly £2.45 per test. Higher margins on private sales I imagine say £10 per test £3.50 profit per test?

Again just guessing nobody really knows 100%. I could be talking absolute b0ll0cks.

I dont tend to post on other boards but watching the fun its hard not to have a pop some of the $**** they are coming out with is pathetic.... must resist ha.

I could not be more comfortable with my Avacta holding (most comfortable I have been with it in a year). ODX will do well but those dreaming of a fiver over there are doing just that dreaming im afraid, the numbers just dont add up.
