With Polar now being <5% am I right in thinking no further trades need to be reported?
I don’t think it will matter because results are imminent and we’ll soon have something else to talk about but just so as not to expect any further TR1’s even if they continue to sell.
Exactly what I was thinking Kevin.
It’s not as if people people were running around excited, fuelled by Adrenalin and just bought into the first share they saw.
Instead people here have been invested for a long time and are excited because of the progress being made.
Why anyone would quote Ndn is beyond me!
And if very few die or there is no statistical difference then so be it - it’s just a quick peak at one measurement. You wouldn’t be tweeting about it and would still carry out the full analysis anyway.
What we’re saying is that death is a quick thing you could see when you get the results.
Of course it’s not the be all and end all but if the results were 0 on SNG and 10 on placebo then straight away you would be excited/encouraged (albeit in a compassionate manner) about what might follow.
@Taffy
I wouldn’t read too much into what Polar are doing - they don’t know any more than the rest of us. They’ve bought and sold in strange patterns over the last couple of years. While we can all speculate as to what they might be doing, none of us know so speculation is all it is.
Follow your own instincts, don’t worry about Polar selling. Similarly, people will get carried away if Polygon add to their holding. The same applies though.
If the P3 results are as good as we all hope then if anything I can see me holiding onto my shares for longer than I originally planned.
I’d be in huge profit and the risk would have been minimised, if not gone completely, so if anything I’d be happier then to just let it ride.
Like many holders, although I believe in the product and the team, until the results are announced there is still an element of risk so saying £x per share sounds appealing just now. However, if there is no risk due to positive results then there is no rush to sell as this could go anywhere.
I thought results would land on Monday 10th January so will be on at 7am tomorrow looking for an RNS - would be nice to be right for once!!
@Axe - I don’t disagree with any of that. My disappointment comes purely as a British citizen and the wish to see friends, family and colleagues etc here getting the best range of treatments as soon as possible.
Very interesting that the RNS is explicit again about the US being the target market initially.
Great news for us in terms of maximising profits and with the support already in place from the US government hopefully we get EUA very quickly if/when positive results are announced.
I always thought something may happen with the UK government - that conversations would be happening behind the scenes. This seems less and less likely now though.
The RNS will land when it lands and unfortunately none of us know when that will be.
The rationale part of me says it’ll be here by the end of the month, so just be patient, it’s not long now.
But that doesn’t stop me from checking the news every morning and getting more excited each day so far to see if it’s landed!
