I can see there is some element of dilution but I don't quite see why it can't at least revert to the levels seen before the CEOL was rejected and maybe even the price before when we got hit with earlier delays or fund raises. Are we not broadly in the same place now (only better funded but with more shares) than we were at that point - noting that the issues at the time have been addressed and by actively reopening the process it is inherently more likely to go ahead.

From a funding perspective, there's plenty of funds stored up in older warrants which will start to trigger as the SP rises but will sit inactive while it continues to languish at these levels,

Have can they call them "performance-related share option awards" if there are no performance conditions?

I suspect the answer here is that it is the award itself which is performance-related. The exercise of the options probably still has some conditions such as remaining in employment etc.

The more observant among you will notice that £5.4m would be enough to buyback 10% of the share capital if the market cap were 25% higher.

And as we all know these dividends won't be small sums. I would imagine that a lot of them will be reinvesting here too.

Afternoon pullback was a little disappointing but give this a little more time. We have something like 70% of the MCap backed by cash here so you're not even paying for inventory less trade liabilities let alone any capacity to make money in the future. It's making profits now and these are prices you'd pay for a company that can't cover its running costs.

If their shareholders are anything like the visitors we had here at the time, they will want us to shoulder their debt burden. Going to be even harder now to strike a deal where they get half what they might have.

If we are getting more M&A, I'd prefer the incremental add-ons rather than something more akin to a merger which can run into more significant internal turf wars. Current management here are doing quite fine enough thank you.

After nearly a year, I finally got something from the Sparks card yesterday in the form of a birthday present.

The store in Maidstone is out of town so largely out of my range - I'd even suggest that the one on Southwark high street is more accessible. It was fairly busy but I think it was also quite poorly organised. For an out of town venue, I was surprised how badly they had arranged things - all IMHO of course.

I was trying to figure out what information you claim to be inaccurate? Nothing in the interview answered that question.

If you are genuine in seeking an honest discussion, let's start with something to back up your claim of dishonesty on the part of management and the Board.

Short term rates are pretty meaningless here. Think maybe 10-yr gilts as a benchmark and they're sitting at around 4.5% so you're getting gilts+3% here which is about as low as I can ever recall it being.

Has anyone had any correspondence or response from their investor relations here? I asked a few questions nearly two weeks ago and have not heard anything back.

Bullish update here. About time that the SP started moving the other way.

Plenty of positives here and the SP could turn at any moment. For now I will be watching and waiting as there's still scope for this to go lower given that it dipped today on positive company news.

But that dividend yield is starting to look mighty tempting again.

I have to agree. There's plenty of operational risks associated with acquisitions. I don't think Chris Cox is making light of that by saying "it's not rocket science" but rather that the sort of mistakes that can happen in these situations are often quite simple ones. As for us shareholders and our scrooge-like instincts, well if you were to look at any of the cashflow models it's clear we only care about the oil and gas that the new businesses own and we expect management to look after the little details like employees.

I can't hold shares in a business on the hope that there might be a bid. These are now looking pricey and hard to see where the future growth is going to come from. I can get better yields elsewhere, or lower yields but better growth prospects, so I let go of another third of my holding today.
