We may just be seeing a bit of drift in the SP but it's gone a long way down just in the last month. There are a few unanswered questions out there but I still couldn't resist a modest top-up at these prices. Winter is here now and bills are starting to rise which ought to trigger a few discussions on how to save money.

Something I just noticed but why are GAMA still listed here as an AIM stock?

Not true. You can go through the YE or HY presentations to see where the cash comes from.

Here's another piece from the audited accounts in June

"In the forecast scenarios the Company has sufficient working capital based on the existing funds held to meet its working capital requirements for at least 12 months from date of sign off."

Fairly standard stuff but fairly clearly suggests that the business had the funds at the time. I can see no reason why, just six months later they had to give away over 15% of the company (over 25% if the warrants are exercised) for so little. I also see little mention of who the lucky recipients of these new shares are so there's another little surprise they'll spring on us at some point.

It doesn't get better if we assume this is a sound financial decision rather than anything underhand. The need to raise capital at these raise only highlights the perilous state of the company's finances. But it is more likely just foul play.

This looks like a deliberate destruction of shareholder value. Raise £300k and wipe £1.5m off the market cap. What's worse, there was barely any indication that they were running so low on cash (TEK presumably also short of funds)

Aspers, you're not wrong about Pedro but you were also looking for dividend stocks a few weeks ago.

Do I count? I was here when I bought at over £4 although that was barely a year ago. It's looking like we've got a bit of a breakout today and there doesn't appear to be any resistance levels stopping a continued drift upwards.

Not a prediction, merely a hunch.

My advice would be to hold your nerve. In particular when the fundamentals are on your side and the results are there to prove it, just sit back and wait for the market to correct itself. We might be looking today at some profit taking and a little bounce of resistance levels but once that has broken, our little bird can fly high.

I'm presuming that WitW used to go by the moniker MunnieTorx. Very similar manner and tactics and almost certainly is not a holder of JOG shares......yet!

If you request information from IR and they reply then it is P&C only because you asked the question, not because the information you were looking for was outside the public domain. If these are general questions that would be of value to this message board, then it is staggering to find out that people are willing to withhold that information purely on the grounds of a couple of words they see in an e-mail reply.

Please can we be a little more grown up on this board.

These are the key points that management want you to take from this

- enhance academic services,

- improve search and trend analysis, and

- optimise inventory management.

If last year is anything to go by, we should see continued momentum in the SP over the next week or so and I'd be a bit surprised if there aren't a few more of these target price upgrades to come too

I believe the climate for IPOs is improving and this deal can only help as it will demonstrate another meaningful source of revenue. I don't believe Alusid need to be profitable at the time of IPO but this deal should be a big step towards that and can only help their prospects for raising capital directly from the market.

We don't need a lot of that to flow FIPP's way for it to be reflected in the SP.

It's still way too low but I reluctantly let go of a few surplus shares this morning. I'll wait for the market to be more realistic before I let them have a few more back. Stick a modest PE ratio on this of just 12x and we'd be at 247p. But then look at where they have to be after three years for the bonus shares to kick in and you could argue that 20x might be too low.

The shorts have to be driven by some sort of commercial logic and here I think they lost the argument betting perhaps on trading factors. Presumably they will be unwinding and we can see the SP continuing to climb to at least 300p by the end of the month.

They don't appear to be in any rush to spend the £100m. If it continues like this we have 6 month before they will have finished.

I wouldn't mind another dip down to the low £13's as it would be a good opportunity to top up.

Over 2.5% dividend to be earned by CoP tomorrow. I can see no logic in this current price so I've added a few more today. Starting to build up a semi-permanent holding here.

Perhaps also worth adding that the EPS figure of 19p is based on a 30 Sep share count. Using the post-buyback count it would be 20.6p per share.

Simple. It plays better to their internal back story that any success they have achieved was down to their own talent or efforts versus those from a more fortunate background who must have achieved what they did through family connections.

But back to the main topic, my MKS shares are as good as any of your MKS shares.

No. It is trading normally so I assume it's just a problem at LSE with the data feed. Something similar is going on at MWE

If this were the result of geo-political risk then I would be a lot more worried. Fortunately it's a local dispute about payments due which doesn't look too troublesome.
