On another board I would filter but this is less active and far more prone to being flooded with misinformation by a co-ordinated group. I could always take advantage of these wild price swings to increase my own holdings but I plan to be around here for some time and don't want to be seen to profit from these sorts of schemes.

I'm not really under any illusion that my posts will have much impact but who knows. At the end of the day, one less disgruntled shareholder on this board would make it a slightly happier place.

This subject caught my attention. Who's been trading in shares but can't perform basic arithmetic?

Yet again, no sources just the same regurgitated story of a big contract coming and the promise of 10x return on your money.

I guess the standard pump and dump tactics don't require much in the way of reading up about the company itself.

Now they did post the same message on a few other message boards but that's really sloppy to post it here as well. The usual ramping flood of message follows promising a big new contract about to be signed but we are still waiting for the first one that was promised around a year ago - usually it's for something like $1bn.

They are much further than that from production. Earliest we will see anything meaningful is 2029 and 2030 is what Ignacio is putting out there. The sequencing is CEOL fast track -> PFS -> Partnering/Financing -> FID -> Construction -> Production but within this is an Environmental Assessment which will take up to 2.5 years.

That's not to say we won't see the SP ramp up significantly over that period. Suppose we were producing 20kt per annum in 2030. At current lithium prices that's around $350m of revenue per annum which is clearly not in the current SP. That discount will unwind with successive steps toward production.

Always happy to add at these prices.

Spot on, OldManH. All those shorts represent future demand for GRG shares and at 11% of share volume that's a lot of buying we will be seeing here at some point.

Not too bothered about the momentum today. I'll buy at these prices because they are cheap by most standards for a quality stock.

Being generous it might just be part of the negotiating strategy around getting preferential drilling terms.

Not that I'm complaining. Another opportunity to lock in some gains although I am not a little underweight here.

We might have to start a sweep for where and when the SP might take a bit of a pause. No sign of that yet and it is making all my 2026 IIR figures look quite ridiculous.

Talking now of other accounts being banned so I guess the person behind WiseWendy knows all about that sort of thing. Presumably looking for to scare off those left after the PnD for a nice low entry point - then watch to see the change in mood and news of another $1m contract from Reddit.

I think it's time they left.

Not sure what the fuss is about the short exposure. Feels to me we have a large block of buys just waiting to happen so at worst it will provide a strong level of support for the SP.

btw, had my first visit to GRG today for over a decade. Can't say I was bowled over but it was pretty cheap even if the sausage roll was not the best and cold.

We might be approaching another breakout attempt.

I wouldn't be so sure. These shares are sitting in multibagger territory with the potential to double in value and still look cheap. You start seeing prices in the 7-8p range and the small group of existing holders will simply collect more shares on the expectation of sizeable gains when the next positive news story comes out.

Of course it's easy to prey on gullible FOMO investors who appear to be rushing to sell as quickly as they rushed to buy yesterday. But a few of them will pause and consider whether they would be better off sticking with this for the inevitable rebound.

Maybe this one is a dump and pump scheme.
