Legache, posting things like that here, you might as well have claimed "Biden has a few decent policies" in the middle of a MAGA rally. It's not the place for a balanced political argument as there are too many voices here who still view Labour as a Corbynite/Marxist sect and fail to distinguish between a speech at a party conference with the government of the country.
I won't begin to claim that Labour have hit the ground running - quite the opposite, a lot of the new government's initial steps have been fairly amateur. But they'll learn quickly that you can't appease the unions at the same time as the markets.
As has been mentioned here more times than I could count, the O&G tax measures will hit HMT revenue as well as many key jobs. Once Labour get their act together, there'll be some softening of the measures. But if they don't, there is a real danger that the industry will largely disappear.
