You talk rubbish, there are NO pay offs, there is NO big money coming they're way. it is a TUPE agreement & about the same time in Q3 2018 will be the end of the TUPE agreement transfer. Finding techs .............. isnt just driving a bus down Union Street, they ALL have to be signed off as competant to operate the plant, theyre signed off by a fully competant technician, 1 competant technician per shift wont cut it with the HSE. You think you they will better off under Serica, --- I KNOW differently ! One thing that will definately get the feet walking is a change to current rota pattern ............. I see Serica going to 3/3 for costs, something that wont go down at all 1 thing, ive worked this asset 7+ years, i know its good & bad points, I'm not surmising, I'm stating facts. the US sanctions where lifted to preserve the security of (the subsea infrastructure) Rhum, this course took nearly a year of too-ing & fro-ing between the UK hiarchy & the US. The license to operate is only available from the compentancy to operate the BKR asset, especially Rhum being a HPHT reservoir, if not operated correctly the feild will be goosed if a hydrate formation occurs subsea. A lot of maint / ops guys & TLs on there now are well miffed at being sold, and with the market in an up-turn are looking to get out, as they are a sought after breed, and they WILL move if the pay is better from another employer. All you have to do is loose 10 technicians (out of 45) and the asset wil have to be shut down for reasons of competancey to operate. Now back to Serica, as mentioned they are a small at the moment, a company of 5 previously, who have a finger in the pie called Erskine which has no permanent crew, an NUI (Normally Unmanned Installation) flowing through the non Serica operated Lomond platform. Serica are NOT an offshore operator .................. not yet, in the future possibly. Im commenting because ......... 1. I can. 2. Your all screaming theses shares are worth 'X' amount. Why ? If it was that good why would it be sold ? 3. You havn't even taken over BKR assets & talk like Serica have run assets for years ........ as i said Serica .......... are not an operator, shrewd investors maybe. 4. Unless you have worked in this environment your presumptions are limited, its a bit like shopping thru Lidl because you have to, or shopping in Harrods, because you can, try buying something as a comsumer ........ price is 50 quid, try too buy as an oil company .......... your price has now just trebled ! Its true, its not hear say, i know. 5. BKR assets lost 15 personnel in 2009 due to better offers. & finally, Serica should really get an up to date photo of the asset they are buying into, the kit that turns over the profit is missing from the jacket ! buchanboy, thank you, it is informative & it is also correct, and the reason i know ? i think you know how i know, first hand experience for 5+ is knowledge enough, even for a blind person. Just 1 thing, the through-put will not increase by much, mainly due to T1.

probably a good deal, but people are only looking at massive quick returns ......... the out-lay on operating these assets is also massive, my previous post should have read A MILLION A WEEK TO RUN & OPERATE (circa 62 mil a year) SQZ has gone from a team of circa 5 (board members) to circa 120, not including rotational contractors ( all of whom have a relief) who maintain all the SCEs, structures, vessels etc etc etc. POB currently operates at 140 .......... all with a relieving person so circa 280 people. The operating costs are huge, albeit shared 4 - 5 ways, never the less still huge. 2018 is shutdown year - shutdown costs ............ 20+ million, deferred profits still in the reservoir. And still this has to clear the yanks for approval ............... Trumps in charge, and he despises the middle easterns. Dont hold your breath for too long, just my view :)

There are already 3 Rhum wells R1, R2 & R3 .................. R3 which is hydrated from being spudded originally

Don't forget the operating costs of the BKR asset circa $ 1 mill month, although its split 4 ways ( well 5 now as Schlumberger are taking a cut for free fracking of wells ), BP owns 37% of Bruce, 50% of Rhum & 35% of Keith feild. Operating the kit costs a lot of money - its not just profit, which seems to be what being banded about ......... Stumbling block is the US Treasury OFAC company approval to operate the Rhum tie back, which as it happens is back up for license sale in 2018. Wonder if SQZ can negotiate a buy out of the tiebacks from NIOC to be 100%. Incidentaly when the export is on restart or constarined by CO2 blends, the Rhum is the first to be knocked out of the line ................. How do i know ???? think on it ;)
