The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
tell you next week, feild break this week im afraid
u on drugs today ? Largest producing set of wells in the U.K. & turning out 17mbod --------- dont think so, bigger producers out there & 2 of them not very far away from AM, making 80mdob & 35mbod
its not routine, thats scheduled for september, so this outage must be safety critical maintenance, or its had a prohibition notice to sort something out
theres only one platform out there, so you wood group on the solan ?
it cant be sorted, its the reservoir formation, not a lot can be done about it, it will come now or later, but it will come at some point in time
it wont be a day job to get back up to production levels of the past, takes a week to get back to full rates maybe a tad quicker seeing as its only 2 wells to re-start,(there is no ignition key) is this an early shutdown then ? as it was supposed to be Sept for the week outage for maintenance
its called covering thier own ar$e due to the increased water cut, if they can manage the produced water returns all well & good, at the end of the day it only goes over the side after being treated to <30ppm as per offshore Petroleum Act Oil Pollution Prevention and Control Regulations 2005, yes it increases lifting costs but its part & parcel of oil exploration, there isnt an assest in the world that doesnt get produced water
we're not too far away in the WoS basin with an much bigger fpso in orange currently doing 85mbd with room for more throughput to 130mbd, looks like it could get busier
I think there is someone on this bb that has to be inside Hur on AM or close to someone who is, as some of their contextual stuff is kinda spot on & makes sense from a production view point, but then few posts later kinda tries to muddy the posts by not making sense at all, just my opinion

Never ever heard of oil cut, water cut is measuring figure by minusing from 100% to get the oil volume, was this a professional tip from the gas station attendant!
draught, does this interperate as they are going to loose cargo on the voyage across ?
Why would market wake up ? It hasn't for the previous 13 cargo offloads, 1 more offload isn't going to kick the market into life imo

Paul B Loyd was booked up to work for Hur up until October 2020, with work coming up to plug and abandon the Lincoln Crestal well in March.
The rig will work on a day rate of $160,000 in February – March and $205,000 from April to September.
Transocean will then drop the rate to $160,000 in October.
The rig is planned to be used to drill a commitment well, required by the OGA to test the full extent of the Lincoln discovery, this year.
However, due to the time to plan the well, Hurricane said in December the rig would stand idle for several months, possibly incurring a cost of “incurring a cost of up to $10 million net to Hurricane”.

shes off to glen lyon by looks of things, all the shuttle tankers running currently to am are owned by teekay as are all the ones used currently WoS under contract, to foinavon, am & GL
wont be any major process upgrades carried out in a weeks shutdown, not in september & not in this environment WoS, all you could expect is possibly vessel internal cleaning & general maintenanace, overhaul valves, PSV recertifications possibly, cant find any data on sparge lines ( returned sand removal ) if fitted to this fpso, possibly is seeing as she is a floater & designed for differing operating areas
Popped up on an old feed some newbies may not have seen fella, didnt realise you was a mod ??
gas resources are not much use in any discussion here, gas resources are only useful for one reason on AM, for operational power services, there are no re-injection gas lift risers or manifolds to aid oil recovery or keeping reservoir pressured & no sales into the WOSPs as there is no export pipe line attached ............ unless i'm missing something else
was anyone on the bevvy last night
water cut is not a game killer if the produced water train can handle the volumes & it is disposed of within spec of 30ppm overboard, its when you cant manage volumes or spec it becomes more difficult as a choke reduction is required
