Does this BOD have any ideas ? Are they aware of the hoops & jumps to clear for (COP) cessation of production ? Approval is required from the regulator OGA & BEIS, years in advance not months as it all needs regulatory sign off which also has to have benefit for the stakeholders not just the company wanting to turn the lights off and scarper !
RE: Investors Keep writing these emails...18 May 2021 11:17
Have I missed something here, busy with work next door to AM & with share price through the floor wasn't really wanting too look & get depressed, so what's the crack with ------ Re: court hearing 21/5/2021 ? TIA
Crystal Amber Fund (CRS) is an AIM-listed activist fund investing predominantly in small and mid-cap UK equities where it identifies opportunities to enhance long-term shareholder value through active engagement with companies. They well & truely Fu&k£d that last line up big style !
the initial CPR was carried out by RPS Energy evaluating the basis of economical field development reporting to Hur who in turn reported to OGA UK to obtain approval ? So the Q is : How are RPS Energy who are supposed to be a leading authority in oil field analysis reporting not partly liable for the massive down grade in resources from the 'original big big oil hype' to now the 'dump it and run its all gone' ?
FPSOs are generic to a point of producing oil & gas, tell your insurer you have bought a load of 2nd hand equipment & your liability cover will go thru the roof. Different fields flow at Different pressures Different sub sea temperatures, you as a drilling man should be aware of that much at least
Noelpbz Only if they 'fit' with items they need to tie into, size, pressure, rating, metallurgy, physical size etc, so probably very expensive scrap at the moment
bp havent pulled out of the feild, they are just taking the vessel off station due to the poor condition and the efficiency of her to produce cheap bbls, AM is about 15 miles away from Foinaven so there will not be tie backs going to AM, plus she doesnt have the capacity to handle daily total fluids what the Foinaven is capable of producing daily.
Drilling is feasible in winter months as some day out here are twice as better as weather onshore, but a lot of that is down to drilling rig type, ie harsh weather rig. DSA was out here for 2 years straight drilling in one if the fields
How much Incompetence do these Compant Reporters have? One minute it's a billion barrels, the next Competent Reporter reckons the plug has been left out & most of the oil has drained away. Then another Competent Reporter thinks surely this field is making oil as the FPSO sits on the surface above. The reporting on this needs to be investigated by a competent person, but not any of those who hold any posts with the main oil company or its representatives. Smells fraudulent
water injection, 3 bbls water injected returns the volume of 1 bbl of oil - fact. ESPs will not forever suck that reservoir dry if there is nothing else to aid sweeping the oil to the wellhead bore, so if its not a water injector going in perhaps the BoD should consider gas reinjection, the amount of gas i see AM flaring daily could be put to good use besides using as a fuel gas for power generation, just my thoughts
Water injector seems foolhardy ................ would somebody like to say why ? if i accept your engineered response, then what is going to keep the reservoir pressure up ?
You can't drag the ass out of a reservoir if you don't replace what you take out. WI replacement is 3 to 1 ( water to oil recovery) The AM (vessel not CEO) capability on produced water handling is currently 30mbd throughput, if Hurricane are to get best from these reservoirs then a much more capable vessel is required in my view from across the way. Good luck all investors.
flare lit - highly likely all maintenance complete, let's hope production is restarting steadily, a bit of good news for Friday. Gla https://ibb.co/JyxBqD4
