Lets not forget that the antibody test was always targeted at accompanying the vaccine rollout, last time i checked the vaccine was being administered by healthcare professionals, Home use authorisation would be a nice sideline but not crushing if we don't get it, thats the message we need from CR and UK-RTC

I think the UK-RTC need to take hold of there balls and make a clear statement on MHRA approval or not, the statement from CK around the antibody test being the only one being assessed for home use looked to be a plus point, now it could be a stone around our necks

Unlikely that CK will respond if AH have declined a response, we always get the fallout from the Uk-RTC with very little upside st the moment

These LFT are so cheap, if we are concerned about sensitivity and specificity just put two in a box!!

With the vaccine news, we hope that the UK-RTC antibody test should now begin to get a little more traction.

Its becoming clear that BoJo and Handjob made a massive balls up when they directed the UK-RTC to focus on antibody testing initially rather than antigen, so now they are having to send billions of our taxpayers cash to china (who look like they had an antigen test available from day one, strangely enough!), Rather than having four of the UK's biggest diagnostic companies focus on what was obviously going to be the initial requirement, ie LFT antigen.

H1 2021 should see antibody testing come to the forefront, IMO

Tender for £912m LFT closes 13/11, we will miss this first tranche, which runs until match 2021. If we do we are unlikely to sell to the UK government and will need to look elsewhere

The issue i see at the moment is we dont have an antigen lateral flow test available to sell, we really need an update on the mologic progress, with the latest bid for £912m closing on 13/11 we have missed this opportunity (https://bidstats.uk/tenders/2020/W46/738590726), at the moment antigen LFT is where the need is and we aren't ready,

Which could remove the need for freezing vaccines, early stages at the moment, so probably unrealistic for the first Covid vaccines but could make a difference in a roll out to poorer countries that don't have the infrastructure to support keeping the vaccine at low temperature

@Robbo13 i dont agree with you statement regarding his timing, the investment was valued at £4.85m with the share price so low it takes nearly 3B shares to pay him off, if he had waited for good news and the sp to rise he would have needed less shares to cover the amount.
