We can all agree the Innova tests are flawed, and the way the contracts were given out was corrupt, and we should stop using them and instead use Visitect, but back in the real world the MHRA have given the OK to continue using them and the government will hide behind emergency powers with regards to the contracts.

That unfortunately doesn't mean the government will look to purchase tests from us, if anything it makes it less likely, they will argue they took emergency steps with Innova and cheaper back-stop arrangements with ODX/GAD, and in doing so managed the situation the best they could and protected us and their purse.

As i said before the DHSC contract is a lemon for ODX, and imo Colin knew it from the start, which makes even worse the regulator screw up for the Visitect test.

@EarlofAim : Last time i checked the UK regulator was the MHRA not the FDA and they told the government they could crack on with using the Innova test, and with regards to Schools as said before the Orient Gene test has been targeted for school testing because of the easier sampling method, The Orient Gene trials in schools was underway before the FDA announcement regarding Innova.

Are they though, the main news seems to be the Lord "Bugger-Up" Bethnell used personal email (which was discouraged but not against the rules) and didn't record some meetings, those meetings being with UK companies, mostly members of the UK-RTC or UK Rapid Antigen consortium?

Why do you think that in order to put right spending £3.2B on 1B tests of which we have 300-400M left Whitehall will think its the best approach to start spending £374M more on a contract the looks to have been given out in the same manner ?

Lets not forget that our illustrious leader first engagement with governments plans was as far back as 21st November 2020 when the letter of intention was signed, (and during which time the innova supplies were being confirmed and paid for).

Its clear (IMO) Colin knew the true nature of the 2 phase contract, and tried to subdue market response to what on the face of it was "transformational" for the company but in reality was a "lights on" contract at best.

The issue for us is that the targeted test for schools is the Orient Gene test, which has been piloted in education establishments over the last months, even a massive ramp up in testing for schools wont mean they need our tests anytime soon

Lets also remember that 32M Omega shares have been issued in the last 12 months, between the placing and options being taken, if we average that at 50p per share, thats £16m the company have extracted from the market, and what have we seen in return?

There are two questions we all need to hear the answers to on 13th, what have 250 staff been doing for the last 3 months, and how many tests have we made that have been sold, i fear that the “we are making all the tests” will not go down well and i hope Colin realizes that also, and has something of substance to pull out of the hat

The recent debacle with Hand**** and Lord Bugger-up Bethnel, just shows what doing business with this government is like, unfortunately Colin and the BOD have been played like the group of amateurs they have been proven to be, the only interest Colin has now is keeping the lights on and his pay packet rolling in each month, The standby capacity contract he has committed us to will do just that but little else. ODX have made mistake after mistake and now rather than being ahead of the game are forced to play catch up with regulator approval and distribution channels, I was hoping / expecting the Mologic antigen test to push us back towards 100p, but another six weeks before we even expect regulator updates, i’m not sure where the SP will be at that date, Colin’s continual half truths and downright lies have put us in a position no one was expecting, but lack of IIs means he thinks his position is safe as PIs will just throw in the towel except the behavior and move on,

The problem is that Omega have only released official details on two "products" they have sold in over a year, and those are 175K Abc-19 tests, and 32M ODX shares!, We also know from the CHAI update (Colin didn't deem us worthy to give us the information directly ) they have sold just under 100K CD4 tests.

We wait for the 13th to see Colin try and "polish the turd" of a years results that have been shambolic to say the least, and we will be into the fourth month of the transformational year the 2021-2022 is promised to be.
