@Shelly71: The £9.3M is not new news it was published in the trading update 11th february, so i think that bad news is somewhat baked into the current SP, but I think most are hoping that Colin will at least have some good news (probably figures around the Cassette and pouching work the government have thrown us).

Well that is the big question that has been debated many times on this BB over the last couple of months, does ODX revenue performance justify its current mcap ?

So how do we get to ….

Whilst i dont think there will be the need for a placing , the "for good" statement again shows how naive Colin is, remember that this was the time when he was also tweeting that they would be delivering millions of tests per week in the coming month, things change and most people in business would say "never say never" !

The Trading update will just be an rehash of the poor trading details previously given and a reiteration of "We wait", I don't expect anything other than that, if you expect Colin to suddenly turn around and say everything is rosy i expect you will be disappointed, I think Colin will now try and deflect the investors interest to post Covid and the medium to long term prospects rather than the promised transformational year.

The problem with the PI investors in ODX they have spent the last 8 months trying to read between the lines as to what Mr King isn't telling us, as their twitter feed kept banging the drum.

Realistically Colin's half truths are what has seen the SP at this level, people cant align the reality with the conjecture coming from the company and the government.

Debate on here this morning regarding facts, Take a step back and look at the "facts" that Colin has released to you, anything other than that is just people spinning their own opinion.

@Sledgey121: If we had an RNS stating the DHSC had selected a test, then i don't think we would need a separate RNS to say we have started TT, as its specified as a task in the contract, but I don't think we could start TT without the selection statement.

Remember with Mologic we had already signed a MOU for their tests, its unlikely any other company would share their IP without a formal agreement in place and its that agreement that would definitely require an RNS

ODX never officially told us that TT of the Mologic Antigen test was started, only that they had a team on standby and ready to start

ABDX had already notified its investors that via its trading update that it was in the process of TT

No one can argue based on the ODX share price activity in the last 6 months that the starting of TT process for any test associated with the DHSC contract wouldn't be an impact to the share price

@Ganners: This only aligns with the advice sent to schools and colleges regarding the possibility of receiving any of the other government purchased LFT (Innova, Abbot or Orient Gene)

Unfortunately this isn't "innova on the way out" its simply the planned move of the NHS away from the decentralised distribution of the LFT tests that they could pick up on site, to the centralised NHS test and trace website request for their staff

They are basically saying use up any that have already been distributed to site before requesting more.

And that comes back to your previous post regarding the oversupply of the Innova test, (and abbott and orient gene). If the numbers are correct we wont see a demand this year based on the current usage let alone any diminished demand based on the "everyone can catch it" approach the government are looking to move to.

One thing is certain that now the government have given them away for free, there will be little or no appetite to pay for them by anyone in the uk if it isn't going to gain them anything

Today's announcement means just that for close contacts that have been doubly jabbed, if you mean for people that have symptoms and are tested positive but are double jabbed, there is no way the government can drop self isolation in this case when we know they can still spread the virus
