Given that the buyer is a billionaire i can only think that the deal has been done in this fashion as a means of retaliation to sanctions and the AMC bod have been told that you either take this or you can FRO.

Its completely insane that any bod of an aim company would accept a deal on these terms even if their hands were tied.

It can only be the a rope was put around their necks and this is a legal way of snatching the company and screwing the shareholders over in the same move.

The strike price was far too low anyway and the fact that they have failed to achieve it should give shareholders little cause for comfort.

Pilots are a law unto themselves and they like a good kip on the long hauls so they are not going to agree on big brother keeping a beady eye on them.

The airlines play the game ofcourse they do....its free exposure for them and makes it look like they are interested in safety but i have collaborated with emirates for years and there is no way they will fork out dollars so they can keep their eye on a pilot 30,000ft in the air....if something happens at that height pms is hardly going to save them:)

Aviation has been a nice little side line to keep Pat busy for a few years but the business should be preserving cash now and doorbells are bigger target market!

Red, i dont really have the inclination to argue the toss but to get a 100% increase in salary i would have expected that Bond demanded it with a threat of....im off!

As i was just about to type i seen dw's post and he is correct.....the competence of the afc bod has always been questionable having presided over constant failure in many years.

Personally i think they accepted the easy option and gave him what he wanted but he is not earning it unless you argue that money was raised at higher levels.

They level of company and bod failure here is astounding....they are being passed by everyone in the industry including the minnow minnows!

They have had chances, plenty of them and there comes a point where you have to accept that the performance is dire.

Its a shame because i had a fair bit of confidence in here at one point but its just been eroded down month after month with failure after failure.

If the bod cared about shareholders they should now really be thinking about disposing with Bond and his massively over inflated salary and options.....that is unless they dont give a monkeys themselves.

Since afc never or hardly ever answer any mails its important that shareholders have this agm platform to express their views on current performance and ask why the bod rewarding themselves so handsomely.

We dont know what other changes to renumeration have been done but Adam is now on a salary/package that is getting toward the equivalent of a ftse ceo so they should be willing to justify it.

And if you get the answers you like....treat the wife on the way back....job done:)
