Have to agree with that Jim but it seems the u.s, uk and europe seem hellbent in trying to goad russia into more conflict, maybe they see some gain in going down this route but they are not doing the ordinary people of ukraine any favours...this should have been sorted around the negotiating table weeks ago.

While no fan of russia, some of the stuff i have heard from ben wallace and liz truss recently leaves a lot to be desired.....mind numbingly stupid, embarassing and detrimental to the situation but they a part of boris mob so what can we expect!

They knew there would be some resistence....they have only tip-toed into ukraine, they could get a lot more aggressive at the drop of a hat!

Just....the fighting is going on, there is no ceasefire.

Nothing will change during these talks unless one side has a massive change of heart and that is highly unlikely.

For russia to stop, ukraine would have to make massive concessions.....imo they should do if russia would agree to keep the existing administration in place but thats a huge if...maybe putin needs a dolop of rudyard kipling or just a nice pastila:)

Peace talks are irrelevant and ukraine should not even bother having them unless russia withdraw.

And russia cannot do that now so all it will be is russia saying.....do as we say or things will escalate......and ukraine cannot do that now.

Pointless talking......ukraine should have done a deal weeks ago and given the guarentee that they would not apply to join nato unless russia did.

If they had taken that stance they might have had a negotiating position on the donbas region, its gone now....imo of-course.

Decent people in places like the solomon islands might survive it and with them mostly decended from each other they would have a good chance of creating a decent world.

Hope people can see the point i made yesterday about the stupidity of these impact statements, i was not just ranting for the sake of it.

It will be interesting to see the next commenta from both eua and amc but i will still argue yhe point that amc and the nomad should have been acting smarter than this.

Terrible this for the people of ukraine....i dont see how anyone could support Putin....while he might have a point about nato and security....russia are not under an ounce of threat by anyone so this is extreme....political games that ordinary people pay a heavy price for.

The ukraine government should have acted sooner and more decisively in their negotiation position.

Hope that some diplomacy can be deployed!

These statements should not have been made, they are encouraging people to buy into a dreadful situation....not so much on this board but if to be believed people on the eua board are lumping in.

Its a nothing statement and the nomad should be ashamed in recommending it.

The nomad should maybe be recommending that these shares are suspended but because shorting is allowed then there is a reluctance to do it.

The share will probably get suspended when they have fallen 70 or 80%.

This is not a market, its not even a casino and worse than a ponzi scheme!

Eua have just issued at no impact also.....what a loaf of rubbish, nobody ever expected that sanctions would have any impact from that....its what the russians do that is important.

I hardly think that this no impact signals that the deal is on here.

Conversely....from amc's point of view, it signals that any deal is unlikely!

What an absolute garbage post.....what are you talking about, the expectation of shareholders are what a company puts in the regulatory announcements and maybe non material information that they tell shareholders at agm's etc.....that is often presented forward by the ceo and approved by the bod.

So are saying saying that in afc's 15 year history they have managed to meet shareholders expectations or how about even in the last several months.

Your just completely ignoring that fact so you can have a go at someone you dont like....how about concentrating on this companies performance because to date it has been rank bad and you just have to read the rns's to arrive at that conclusion.

Nobody is trying to blame AB for the history of the company but he needs to expect some critiscm for the non delivery of milestones he told the market that he expected the company to acheive.

The lack of skeptiscm on this board is astonishing sometimes....imo:)
