Firstly, Simon hasn't said it isn't TM. He has simply reiterated that they haven't named any targets in official comms.....for an obvious reason. Secondly, you should either be skulking in shame or still spending your ill-gotten gains, n'est pas?

P.S. if it miraculously transpires that you've been a good, accurate egg all along then I shall be the first to apologise, but for the time being I'll give you the benefit of hostile caution :)

Good last posts Targaryen and catchmeifyoucan. Agree with Targaryen that this latest episode does smell of something but also having trouble trying to work out which side of the fence it's coming from! Still have faith in seadog et al but it does play into the hands of the naysayers somewhat by disappearing during the week this has all kicked off. Insider status hasn't affected previous posting so would definitely be helpful to have that salty old insight into the latest chain of events....

As always, a parallel universe has been created on these discussion boards and certain posters really are plumbing new depths in profiting from the lack of material news. At present we still don't know that TM is the target and if it is then we still don't know that yesterday's release from Dommo has a matrial impact from our perspective, as some would like us to believe.

If Nuog weren't even aware of Dommo's announcement yesterday then it would suggest either TM isn't the target, or, if it is then the news has no real bearing on MFDevco's involvement. What went on yesterday was shameful. What on earth happened to simply investing or trading based on your own instincts and research and letting things play out legitimately from there?

I just don't buy that explanation of today's events I'm afraid SBP. Let's see what tomorrow brings.

There's no way Nuog got blindsided by Dommo between posting this tweet and Dommo releasing today's news. Either the Dommo news has been misinterpreted, TM isn't the target or Nuog really are sailing about as close to the wind as you can get in terms of misleading shareholders without prosecution. We need to make our own minds up on which is true but it still feels like today was orchestrated by forces other than Nuog.....call it blind faith if you like but that tweet and Dommo release in same day just don't add up, unless one was to pre-empt the other.

SBP, thank you for the reply; I would consider it helpful if I could trust you as far as I could throw you. I'm not blinkered enough to think that there are no risks or that what you're suggesting isn't possible, however I still believe that today has been orchestrated. And to claim that a company the size of Dommo got all of that put together and signed off after Simon's tweet this morning, to me is nonsense.

I agree that 'multi bagger' or 'we'll all be millionaires' claims are unhelpful, yet the fact remains that those posting in favour of the share still post much more of substance than those slating it. The fact also remains that if and when a deal lands, some of those claims may well end up being true.

Whether you believe they will land that elusive first deal or not is entirely your call, though I would suggest that publicly slating your own investment won't help you out of the red.

Could somebody clarify which part of Dommo's release today specifically rules out MFDevco for TM? I haven't had chance to read it in detail but I'm assuming all the doom mongers jumping on the bandwagon have analysed it in detail in order to reach the reasoned conclusions posted today?

As mentioned last night, if it isn't TM then it doesn't necessarily mean Brazil is off. Indeed the company really would be living on the edge by tweeting specifically to say Brazil is still in play on the same day some believe MFdevco have been ruled out of the bid for TM (though I haven't seen definitive evidence of that as yet). In addition, would Minty really run the risk of such a positive meeting with LT, including a call from Brazil no less, if today's Dommo news really had any definitive impact on the Nuog Brazil play? Their largest investor may well be a PI, but he happens to be a PI with sufficient funds to hire a very good lawyer, should the need arise.

Everybody has to reach their own conclusions although my own feeling is that the share has been played today by one or a handful of deceitful gobsh*tes who knew the Dommo announcement was coming and saw an opportunity to cast aspersions. I may of course be wrong, but that is my take on the chain of events.

Regardless of the truth behind what occurred today, we do still need the company to close at least one deal of course. It's worth noting though that the latest timescales have yet again been set by PIs, therefore we don't know for certain whether their own deadlines have slipped or not. I appreciate many will hark back to the 'short order' claims but the reality is that we don't know the latest timelines as the company knows better than to communicate them this time around. Unfortunately that leaves many frustrated, including myself, not to mention the opportunists who have potentially orchestrated today's events. I am not shameless enough to advise on what others should do, although I would urge genuine investors to be very careful about what is written on these boards....I should also take note of my own advice!

Sharetag, some of us are simply sat on an investment we believe in and hoping for a return. Others are hedging their bets by trading in a legitimate way. Not all of us are playing games but a good deal of us are becoming increasingly tired of those who are.....

Does anyone else find it a bit fishy that SBP on here and CM on the other board began placing so much focus on OSX3 and TM over the weekend? SBP played it as a positive spin after being openly negative last week...almost as if he knew that placing all focus on OSX3 would result in a mini blood bath on release of Dommo news, even before people have had time to digest it? Might be wrong but between SBP and CM's (Kev's) posts over the weekend, I smell a rat......

I agree Frank...looks like the tweet was pre-emptive. Kev should be ashamed of himself. Nothing wring with trading but to try and influence others in line with your trading should be properly punished imo.

Roy, nobody knows anything for certain unless they have it from source. You're becoming a bit of a stirrer I feel and having read that you DM'd Kev over on the kindergarten bb not so long ago helps confirm my suspicions. I was simply pointing out that at this stage all we know from the company is that the Brazil target is in play; it's PIs who are joining the dots to TM, not the company.

I remain confident that some of the PIs posting here have more source information than the rest of us and so wouldn't be surprised at all if it's TM and suspect along with everyone else that it is. However, there was plenty of dot joining regarding Bentley before and that proved a red herring at that point. If for some reason it isn't TM then the fact remains that the company still have a target in Brazil, if and until the notify the market otherwise. Either soften your tone or wind your neck in, whichever suits.

If it looks like a hammerhead shark and swims like a hammerhead shark then is it still a duck?! It's true that TM has never been confirmed by the company (for obvious reasons) but it does very much look like Brazil is still in play, if not already concluded. Like LT, I would be very surprised if it isn't TM but if news in next week or two suggests OSX3 isn't us then it doesn't have to mean Nuog is shark bait; there are other fields in Brazil!

Thanks Tom....no idea which or what is accurate in that case! As with everything of late, seems as though a definitive answer is elusive, which I suppose is the nature of the beast with this sort of investing....have a good weekend.

LT, applying the logic of some on here, technically we all contributed anything between a chip and an 1/8th of a glass of Bollinger each to that meal Minty bought. And if he is treating PIs to those types of meals ahead of a placing then you won't be the only one going up to Manchester to beard, draw and quarter him! I know better than to count those private members' club chickens before they've hatched but I must say it does sound very encouraging from the tone of your posts.
