Re: GHS, agree it's pretty poor form to just remain in silence after that recent flurry of 'bigging up', although I don't think winter is such a big issue in terms of impact on share price this time around. It looks like work now needs to be done on a renegotiated farm-in, possibly on better terms and possibly with a different partner. All of that can be done behind closed doors and in any weather, and the impact on the share price of a revised deal structure would still be positive imo.

We'll see what happens...still hopeful for something this week, even if volume doesn't seem to suggest it.

Out of interest, SBP, and given that evidence suggests the pieces are falling into place as opposed to anything else, what makes you so convinced the company is a panto act rather than simply hard at work bringing a number of deals together? Reference to Simon will not suffice in the answer, I'm afraid, as I believe a number of things are being pinned on him that in fact have nothing to do with him, or his remit.

Fair point Ben. On reflection it's also interesting that the troll (or whatever they are) posts very rarely exceed a few lines and very rarely give away anything personal.....almost as if they are carrying out a tick-box exercise only, which chimes with your theory of being broker-led. I rarely have a go at Benjdroid or SBP (only when SBP really deserves it lol) as they at least try to present genuine counter arguments.

Fair point Ben but we have also seen the impact of ramping during the Beaufort debacle so I'm in no doubt it exists in some capacity. Indeed the recent #excitingtimes stuff spooked me somewhat. Whilst I believe the intentions were simply to counteract some of the negativity taking over here since most of us had moved to twitter, the power of that group posting together (me included) was definitely an eye opener.....

Thanks for those insights Ben....funnily enough they make a lot more sense than marbur's replies! Mind you, if they do indeed exist for the reasons mentioned then no doubt rampers do too, so I'm trying to maintain some semblance of balance.

LB, good to see you back - appreciate the thoughts from you and BenF. What I don't understand though is the broker-led explanation occurring on a daily basis without any let-up? Surely if that were the case then they would need periods where they switch to silence or ramping in order to reap the benefits of their previous de-ramping? CM on advfn is pretty transparent in that way. I'm really struggling to accept that explanation for a number of our resident trolls on this board (and I'm talking squatter status they've been here and negative for so long).

About the only thing we have in common is a dislike of those who mislead, yet I also place you in that category. More important than the share price being influenced by group activity on here is the effect said activity has on individual holders and decisions. You refer to hard working folk and your dislike of those who seek to influence them. Yet what do you think your negativity does? You could be affecting individual investment decisions day in and day out and yet how do you know a deal isn't going to land tomorrow?

Let's take today, one of your more active trolling days. Let's say someone decides to sell their holding off the back of your coordinated effort at creating negative sentiment? Doesn't that fill you with any kind of remorse or guilt? It bloody well should. Yes, it's possible that the rampers are doing the same thing and I extend the same message to them.

Dabbling in investing, which is what most individuals do on AIM, is fun and harmless for the most part, with the added bonus that you could make a fortune if you are one of the lucky ones. However, those who take it to the next level and attempt to make a living out of it, are those who become corrupted by it and start trying to influence others to their own ends. It's a very ugly side of investing and there has been far too much of it in this share of late.

Marbur, paragraphs would be helpful but I've just about managed to decipher most of you post so will attempt to respond.

Hmmm...come to think of it, your response is what you post day after day on here so I don't need to read it. If you hold shares (which I seriously doubt) then what exactly do you think will be achieved by slating your own company day after day on a public forum? Have you ever picked up the phone to these people you are whining about? Also, aren't you hedged with other shares that you can go and be a bit more positive about rather than attempting to bring down the value of your alleged holding here even further?

The mind boggles as to how you can have such polar opposites posting on a share day after day after day. Genuine holders by definition will be more optimistic and will look to share the positives. There will also be certain disgruntled lth, or holders like Ben who are (understandably) becoming tired of false dawns. I get those to some extent.

What I can't get my head around are the non-holders who post negatively day in and day out, some for months or even years on end. These bizarre individuals are usually brushed off by genuine holders (including myself) as de-rampers or trolls looking for a lower entry point. That passes muster for sporadic, pack attempts at trolling to drive the price down. However, this kind of strategy can only exist with an exit strategy and therefore a higher share price, so cannot explain those like Jester, Delster, Marbur, JBelfort et al who are here day after day adding negative posts or comments. I'm genuinely baffled and invite any thoughts. If the troglodytes themselves wish to offer something up then please feel free, though mind your knuckles when typing as what you write isn't always coherent.

I do accept that rampers exist too but why is it that those labelled de-rampers on this share never have much research to support their posts and in general remain much more anonymous, yet those labelled rampers usually share research, are more articulate and have no problem disclosing personal details as appropriate?

As the 'sides' have become even more delineated of late, I'm genuinely looking for any thoughts on the psychology behind it as I don't understand how such polar opposites can exist day in and day out on a share. Have we perpetuated the 'us and them' mentality simply by antagonising and defending to end up with this Trumpesque drawing of lines? Absolutely fascinated by it and in the absence of news to discuss, would welcome any thoughts or theories!
