Classic SBP....you've clearly spent the day looking for a point of minutiae in the statement in order to raise it as an 'issue' knowing full well it could lead to much debate and will likely remain a grey area. Interesting that you chose to interpret it thus, SBP, rather than the obvious alternative. If 'holdings' was indeed omitted intentionally in the statement then it could just as easily be because holdings companies don't generally engage in operations or activities, so could in fact be a positive sign rather than a negative....

Roy, as mentioned previously in reply to another of your outbursts, I am quite capable of making my own decisions on my investment without bleating about it on here. I can't put it any better than Keni just has so I'll leave it there, but please do take your own advice on board by reading the RNSs and not getting too emotionally attached to receiving news based on timescales that suit your own circumstances, as that is a recipe for disaster.

I agree with you that issuing statements such as 'short order' was ill-judged and, who knows, possibly even intentional based on the need for cash at the time. However, the current silence suggests they have learnt from that and news like yesterday's shouldn't be an excuse to start throwing toys again before you've even taken the time to read and digest it.

Unfortunately giving every Tom, Dick or Harry the chance to invest in shares means that the lazies get lazier and gain a bit of power to boot, which creates the monsters we see infesting these discussion boards day after day. If you believe in the share then hold and if you don't then go, just quit expecting other people to deliver at your behest.
