Winstanley, the current mess hasn't been resolved yet !! Some don't believe that Trump has even had any talks with Iranian leadership and, even if he has, no guatantee of the talks being successful, then what happens in 5 days when the extended deadline ends ?!!

And the simple solution to end the conflict is for US and Israel to walk away .... to admit defeat and to be humble ... but too difficult for them !!

Stanleyb, just read the EU Japan joint Statement. I am by no means a supporter of the current Iranian fanatical evil regime, however, the EU Japan joint Statement misses the important point, that Israel and US have also committed wrongful actions in this war. Apart from the latter actually starting the military action, they have killed many of the leaders of Iran's evil regime, and there are claims now that Israel has acted illegally - war crimes - in Southern Lebanon. Israel also bombed Iran's gas facility yesterday which is part of Qatar's also. The EU Japan joint Statement should have been more objective, without showing any US favouritism, in order to obtain some favourable action from Iran. Latter approach would upset Donald, but no point issuing such a Statement otherwise, waste of time !!
