No, not cold, just wore an extra layer in evening and closed curtains, kept room doors shut, etc..., to hold in heat from the day. These practices were done years ago and need reviving, there are some sources informing those brought up amidst 20C heating, etc.. I grew up in a big old house, 1850's built, with no central heating, no radiators, just a small electric heater in my bedroom and coal fire in living room, didn't do me any harm and made me more able to tolerate lower temps. Mind you, temps above 30C are not my thing at all, an Arctic cruise more attractive !!
