Spights, hopefully we are wise not selling our BP shares ?!! I wonder also is Trump's Administration capable at all of truly negotiating diplomatically with anyone as his approach is basically one of coercive control !! Does the US have laws against the latter at all in a domestic setting, also ironic that it's criminal at the micro domestic level, but usually not so at the much more damaging macro country level, highly inconsistent ?!!

Casshy, how do you know Markets will -absolutely TANK' on Monday ? And even if they fall it doesn't mean that ITM will fall though I wonder how much it might temporarily fall by so that I can top up lower !!

Planning on topping up next week, how low do you all think this may fall back to, if at all, and due to profit taking, next week ?

Oil and gas will remain at high prices for quite a while and BP's journey hasn't peaked yet as today's reaction was a kneejerk reluef reaction.

I got in at 30p, added at 68p, and will hold out as I see extra material gains here. ITM is only starting now to get significant deals so the sky is the limit also considering the stronger move to low/no carbons !!

Fleccy, well done, you made a good gain and thanks for all your input here. Even if BP price moves up from here, and I think it will peace deal or not, we all make our decisions good or bad and I've made enough bad ones myself with hindsight in the last 5 years !!

Yeah jamtart1, let Trump and Satanyahu, whilst changing the regime in Iran, go kill thousands of Iranian children, women and men, old and young, all at the same time. David58, HBR and others need to be incentivised by UKG to increase North Sea oil and gas production because they are losing money there after taxes. The EPL needs at the least to be reduced marginally for increases in production above certain levels, eg a lower EPL applied to production above their annual avg up to a certain recent date.

Most stocks are affected by Trump's dishonesty, though BP more directly so than many others, so not sure if your statement true or not.

I'm amazed that Markets believe anything he says tbh, even his statement today re China agreeing not to ship any more weapons to Iran in exchange for the Straits being held open by US (but Iran also has a say in it !!) !!

So fleccy, the increasing drawdown from Cushing appears to be another exageration made by Trump that the US has plenty of oil (in his reference yesterday to oil tankers heading to the US to fill up) !!

Thanks meoryou. Not having sold my BP, as aiming for c.630p, there's the FOMO feeling setting in, but a good test of patience !! And there's always the not bad divi until the next BP share price jump !! Spights also posted about the potential of increased value for BP when it has split itself into 'Upstream' and 'Downstream' and that could be a future catalyst !! All a gamble to some degree !!

Meoryou, scarcity of oil will last though, and for quite a while yet !! Even the IEA's cut in oil demand today also showed, to me at least, that supply of oil will fall by even more, thus maintaining the squeeze on supply v demand.

Spights, I haven't sold any of my BP shares yet as I wait for a price above 600p and am still cautiously optimistic as I cannot see the Iranians agreeing to 'no nuclear' and loss of control over the Straits of Hormuz. I think they'd rather die tbh !! Fortunately I also have shares in ITM, CRW and AFC which are green hydrogen producers.

The so-called "Exciting news" isn't exciting enough buyers today as CWR barely hangs on to gains !! Could be some tfrs to ITM, well up today ?
