Veoneer have an earnings update on 29th so it will be interesting to see if any further driver monitoring bids have converted to awards. Lots of good signs for SEE if you've been keeping your eyes peeled these last few weeks.

Phil - yes, true that. I don't whose logo that is on the front of the car either, it doesn't look like Jaguar. As regards nvidia, I'm still to be convinced that they have an in house DMS.

Looking at the number plate and steering wheel it appears to be a Jaguar. I assume SEYE are the supplier there unless something has changed.

The US market seems to be awash with liquidity. AIM is a poor relation. Maybe Brexit has had a genuine impact on the fundraise, but I also wonder if II investors have used that as an excuse to take the **** & get cheap shares.

Offering 'autonomous' features by 2021. Jeep brand seems to be growing fast and growth is described as 'rapid' in Europe. Should be good news for SEE DMS in time!

I'm not so sure that Geely, having chosen SEYE for Gen 1 DMS (decision 2017 ?), necessarily means that Volvo does the same. Even if Geely are the parent company.

One other thing. Volvo Trucks are currently working with SEE. They are are a separate entity from the car division and are not owned by Geely. I have wondered whether there could be a distinct RFQ for Volvo Trucks or some other truck manufacturer.

I've subscribed for 50000 shares. At the last raise in Dec 2017, we were capped at about 39000 as I recall. However, on that occasion 48 million shares were issued to PIs (albeit at 5p) but this time it is a comparatively greater number (over 200 million shares). I hope that most of the required funds are raised and that this helps SM get to break even in 2022 without any further funding requirements.

If SM win the pending large OEMs surely a bidder will be waiting in the wings. Because SM are then arguably the new mobileye. I think we should know in the next 12 months or so. Where I agree with baxter is that spending needs to be better controlled as of now.

You could sell 100,000 at lunch time for around about 3.051p and buy at around 3.054p. So a very narrow spread has been in place. It has provided me with the opportunity to sell some shares in my standard account and use funds from my bank to re-purchase in my ISA. Others may have been doing the same.

Yep, I think just over 9 million shares in the placing cake for PIs. Not that many at all really in the scheme of things.

Might be folks moving shares in to their new ISA allocation. I wouldn't mind doing the same myself.

Trak management are well aware of SEE. Their CEO was quizzed about this at an investor presentation last autumn which i assume is still available at piworld and on youtube.

Terry - Trakm8 have been trying to develop their own ADAS solutions, including a DMS, in house. I had considered that since Microlise took a stake in the company - and SEE have had links with Microlise previously - something could happen here at some point in the future.

At present, it seems that Trak are close to the point of belatedly introducing their own ADAS solutions to the RH600. Though quite how good those solutions will be I don't know. From recollection, Canaccord in their initial cover note of SM mentioned having caught sight of the Trakm8 DMS solution and it sounded very much like a work in progress.

As at 2012, it seems NTI insured 168,000 pieces of equipment. That would I think have included figures not just for heavy motor vehicles, but also heavy earth moving vehicles:-

I posted a link yesterday and I think it was a bit misleading. As at 2016 I believe the registered 500,000 + trucks is for Australia as a whole, rather than solely with NTI.

That said, NTI are apparently the largest player in OZ for truck Insurance and it appears that the amount of freight on Australian roads will have doubled by 2030
