Nope. We win Honda or something else. I don't know if there are delays on decisions or not, but we're of course still only just over 5 months in to the new year. It's furstrating but all you can do is stick with it or sell up. I'm here until at least the end of the year and in to 2020 I think.

TLS - yes, from having looked in to this further it appears that it's a system that requires you to touch the steering wheel. An article elsewhere stated it's 'hands free' driving. Yet, a description of the tech I have just seen describes a sensor in the steering wheel, which provides audible warnings when hands are removed from the steering wheel. Not that great really.

I think the big two will go with the product that has been proven out in the field in real world situations over a number of years - Seeing Machines. But I also think it would be foolish to write off the competition.

Eyesight were reportedly demonstrating DMS with Samsung at CES back in Jan. Samsung subsidiary Harman announced that it was demonstrating a 'Cabin Monitoring System' at the same event. I assume it's Eyesight they were partnering with, but who knows for sure. The Harman setup can apparently analyze cognitive loads and the same claims were being made in 2016 when they were using Seeing Machines FOVIO DMS.

Stocks can stay in over bought territory for months and the SP can keep going up and up, in which case you may look silly if you sell and a stock goes on a big bull run as it did last year.

Of course, perhaps insiders believed an offer was on the table and we had that extended rise.

You could argue it had gone up to fast - RSI was up at 72 and some traders consider 70 over bought. I'm not a trader and generally don't look at this kind of stuff that much. Stocks can stay in over bought territory for months and the SP can keep going up and up, in which case you may look sill if a stock goes on a big bull run as it did last year..

It's perhaps impossible to keep any news totally secret but like others I have concerns about information leaks. I recall the large accumulation, at low prices, in advance of the GM news back in the summer 2014. It was all very suspicious. Others things have also happened since then that have reinforced my feelings. Big advances in share price, followed by large declines. It's enough to put anyone in the funny farm if you've been here long enough. At some point, the SP may take off without any major pullback but when that will be who knows. I don't have the benefit of being an insider.

A fall like this on the back of 40 or so trades? FTSE 100 down 1.4%. It could be all the political stuff like I said before. Though my opinion of AIM and the FTSE small cap space is at an all time low. I think another 12 months most and I'm gone for my own sanity.

More political turmoil perhaps an excuse for a bit of a sell off - who knows.

I see that he's also made reference to that ADAM lot in his tweet. They've won nothing so far as I'm aware, but perhaps we should be keeping an eye on them?

There seems to be a hint of SEYE targeting aftermarket solutions in China, in addition to new vehicles? Israeli company Eyesight (I think that's the one!) already targeting this market and perhaps SEYE think this is potentially fertile territory. Is that a sign that SEE could be more dominant in US, Europe and Japan? I don't know, but I'd like to believe that. I haven't a clue if SEE have any plans to move in to the Chinese market on any scale - only Byton thus far.

Hi red - yes I get that. I've simply been unable to determine conclusively whether smarteye are accredited with ISO26262 or not. I accept that they may currently not have this accreditation, if that is so it appears this is something they're to trying to put right if job adverts etc are anything to go by.

If I assume they're currently not accredited, hopefully it will be some time before they are. Just as I hope their ambition to produce an auto grade chip doesn't materialise anytime soon!
