i'd like to think the management would be a little more sensible. diffiuclt to predict oil prices over the long term but i cant see it remaining low for long periods... OPEC meeting could be crucial.. my main concerns are not so much management being sensible or not, but the lack of creditable success in recent months on exploration... it seems they have been way out on research and that has cost us all badly as confidence here (despite being in production) has nosedived.

no - i believe not. they were formally taken off the market as the board selt the partial sale of assets was in the best interest of the company. I think a resale in the short term is extremely unlikely

i find this all a little strange with the Sonal deal and the lack of RNS needless to say sentiment is generally negative in equities and throw in the oil prices and the exploration companies are hit hardest if you think oil re bounds and you like SMDR you buy at these levels - if you think oil is going to 50 bucks you need to get out now and take your medicine.

all the brokers have been doing this for the past 3 years. Its all rubbish. Its like saying this share will def go up at some point and def go down. Finger in the air stuff. Look at quindell and Iofina or Nighthawk to name a few! All huge buying opportunities apparently (have all emptied out int he past 5 years) I reckon if you went on the short side of every broker hyped stock you'd be minted.

The ratings.. If anything the fact they are all downgrading is a good thing.. They have all been strong buys and the share price has dropped, maybe this will turn the tide. All speculative guesses anyway

you'll never find someone that gives you a tip down talk the company they have tipped you. furthermore he has openly put on his twitter feed that he bought some more in anticipation.. load of rubbish. bottom line is exploration has been poor. the compnay is undoubdely well run with excellent management but the people who have researched these areas pre licensing have got it wrong. for this to be a so called multi bagger they need to find some new assets. personally i like the fact they are streamlining things more. I think in the last 18 months or so they have taken on far too much, sit tight now (again) gla
