Spot on unhooked. Looking back at my rationale i was drawn in by the story, and obvious attractiveness of the EV market and India. Where i failed (as you point out!) was the crazy val. I bought it in 2022, and as we know in 2022 everyone took a bath - This lot have under delivered badly and the SP reacted accordingly.

wrote on here a few weeks ago i fancied this might fall further.
i think ultimately the market feel the directors have lost creditability. I bough here at the beginning of last year so my money is all but gone, i wish i'd sold at 70p when i thought this would in all likely hood hit 20p, but i'll see this one out and if it zero's i'll add it to the list.
I remember listening to a number of their presentations and feeling they weren't particularly insightful, or for that matter well presented. I wish i had followed my gut and watched from the sidelines.

decent post - but you fail to quantify risk from the perspective of Cancord / Amati and the directors.
The driectors - they come in having been offered shares and a salary and that follows on to a dividend if successful-
if not they move on to another attractive option no worse off and richer for the experience.
for the fund manager buying this stock - they slip it to an already extremely well diversified portofio where a 60% drop whilst hugely undesirable will not destroy the funds return.
For the posters / punters on here its a huge loss of personal capital which may be hedged by other holdings or not...

as per my previous post this is fast heading down to 20-30 p mark.

I'll bet you it doesn't. I bought this for the long term at the beginning of the year when everything was completely different. When I say it screams a sell i mean very much in the short term. This is heading lower, and i would have rather have sat on my hands and had a chance to get in around the 40-70P mark! (harry hindsight) anyway fingers crossed this does trade up rather sharpish and you can live up to your handle

totally agree with this sentiment and outlook. Everything screams a sell - but I'm too involved, so will watch this hit new lows before hopefully bouncing back in the long term.

not good news. no buyers out there which is why prices coming down..
forecasts chopped in half and a global recession - private equity likely to dry up / finance more expensive and fund managers covering positions by selling out of this stuff.
all we need now is Amati to trim this and we will be in the 20's!

made the critical error on buying this in Q1 - in this climate this will get totally trashed.
tempted to cut my losses but will probably sit on my hand and hope to get my money back in the years to come.

given the involvement of this BODs just about anything! and in the event the deal didn't go through the SP will be volatile.

for those that think it is risk free return to the sale price are wrong - please don't invest large sums here to get your guaranteed ~3%,. it might happen, but it is far from risk free.

i'm done here. even if we could vote this deal down, which wont happen - there is no integrity remaining. So much so one can doubt so much of what has been done in the last 2 years. nothing would surprise me here. .. i doubted some of it anyway.
this is a firm that used the papal visit as an excuse..... can think of someone in the press right now who couldn't dream that up.
Aim stocks are by in large shams anyways and those that go round promoting them. We've been played end of.

that's supposed to be the case but never is..!!

and market activity to me tells me we are sometime off an offer (s) - i would expect to see a large rise in vol traded and a steady rise into the moment we get news. as many have mentioned here i would expect the unexpected here in terms of timing.. could easily see this being deep into Dec or potentially further along the line - would fit in nicely with the inability to deliver anything on time...
