FWIW I expected a drop in the SP due to profit being down. Profit down due to 1) Price of oil and gas 2) Closure for 45 days. O&G prices now starting to stabilize somewhat and hopefully no more shut ins. If you take these 2 events out then SQZ would show a healthy profit and certainly not as bad as has been reported.

Like I said the other day its not now that is of interest its the near future with Rhum 3, Columbus and 16 months to go until we get all the assets under our control where gross is circa 40,000 boepd. I think that it was reported only 21,000 for the first 6 months but again that's because of the shut in. I'd like to think that the SP would move northwards once all these 3 events have happened so playing the long game.

All O&G Companies have been hit with just about every other industry so to make a £20m profit is fantastic IMO.

The strategy is there for all to see and they have set out upcoming drills and plans. Of course there will be bumps in the road but for me Rhum3 success will take this higher and provide reserves for years to come.

It’s each to their own Low. For O&G plays I would prefer not to invest in Companies that have huge debt. SQZ have no debt and have and are increasing the FCF month on month.

16 months and we will have the full assets producing over 40,000 boepd from circa 30,000 now. The exact figures are in the presentation.

I’d like to see another div of between 1-2p Announced next week

I agree maths.

The problem is with MSM as pointed out by dive. Negative press and sensationalism is going to help any cruise line.

As Cunard passengers are generally over 50 and if COVID was to strike this would be a PR disaster and as COVID hits the elderly hardest there could be potentially be a death(s) and MSM would get hold of this and sensationalize the story.

There is a good demand for cruising but most wont sail until mid 2021 at the earliest.

Carnival were loaned $6bn at loan notes of 10 and 11%. Currently burning cash at $250m per month with no income coming in and all cruises cancelled until at least next year. Cant believe they will carry on trading and someone is going to pick the assets on the cheap. The SP of £10 looks way too high imo.

Cunard not sailing this year though. It will only take 1 passenger to get COVID-19 and this will be headline news and bad press.

Not really a day trading share if that’s what you’re doing. I’d be tempted to play the long game and not worry about a few pence here or there.

SQZ isn’t going to be very exciting unless there is t/o action. But let’s see what there is to look forward to:

Interims next month
Rhum 3 operation in Q4
Columbus drill in 2021
Eigg drill could come sooner or later
Full asset purchase completes 31/12/21.
Further divs?

Still holding for at least another 18 months if you have the patience..... see SQZ just won another award (saw it on LinkedIn) if anyone wants to have a look

Does anyone else have a Hargreaves Lansdown Share Account? Reason for asking that my div is still sitting in my account without being reallocated to buying more shares. HL said that they will transact all reinvestment divs between 11th and 21st of every month.
From the above, my div should get reinvested soon but would have thought that anyone else like me would see a huge buy from HL - would this shift the SP?

Still been thinking about "Kiosk Kate" and her role as NED. Perhaps like everyone else been thinking the following:

1) Hired because the business is to be sold. I get this and with an ageing board it would not be difficult to see why. Also RRE selling out means that the M&A market is still quite strong.
2) To oversee other takeovers. I also get this point as it fits nicely with point 1. Grow the business and then sell at a premium now that would be good value for us shareholders :).

Either way, very very interesting to see how this plays out but looks a win win situation. Patience is required......
