Why are most people talking up buying a Company when we have Rhum3 on the horizon? More cost effective to get Rhum 3 up and running and will be like a takeover of sorts imo. Looking at Rhum 3 this could be a game changer.

Shouldn't be a problem and for me Rhum3 may be the game changer. BP did the work but stopped before the BKR deal and SQZ have appraised the work and think its viable. Game on and we should know fairly quickly as the work is due to start this quarter.

Upomega - seriously do you think that a Twitter account is really going to move this forward? I think not. What will move this company is Rhum3, Columbus, 100% bkr and another deal.

Yes it would probably help with additional media exposure but I have every faith in the BOD to deliver. Other companies will know what SQZ do and what they are looking for.

Do you ever think the the SP is being "played"? I do.

Div of 3p was fine as a start but If I was SQZ I'd want to keep the money in the bank for an acquisition. If or when this happens I will be pleased that we have made an acquisition rather than add 2p onto a div. I would hope that the SP reacts which would outweigh any div.

Having read that piece today I have never been more hopeful that we are working on something at he moment. Apart from the VCs and hedge funds I’m not sure that there are many O&G companies with a lot of cash. I wouldn’t be surprised if some companies had banged on our door for a deal.

Nice write up on SQZ share news on this site about the majors wanting to sell assets. If we aren’t in talks already about some of these assets I would be astounded.

Well we have Rhum 3 and Columbus due to come online hopefully. I bet you the SP starts to move on these positive news.

So the share goes down today as it’s now confirmed that the second spike is coming but that was always on the cards. Just google Spanish Flu and there were 4 waves and that was the last pandemic. Admittedly that was back in 1918 but even with advancements in healthcare you can’t stop a pandemic and there are now more people in the world.

I was criticised recently for using the word fearful but I know that this word is justified when talking about CCL. Those loan notes at 10% and 11% are eye watering especially on the sums being borrowed.

I love cruising with Cunard but am now thinking that most of their ships will end up as floating hotels like the ones in Dubai and US.

Not gloating on here just sad that after so many cruises with Cunard it must be a good 2-3 years away that l’ll ever be able to go on a cruise again.

Some very good posts on here but am completely fearful for CCL. This will make headline news if or when one person with COVID is onboard. Cant believe they are starting cruising just as there is a second spike around most of Europe. Says to me they are desperate for cash or they go bust as the current figures are not sustainable in the long term.

Whatever anyone does with this share, all the very best but I wont be investing anytime soon. This just reminds me of the airlines RR, EJET etc. and look how they are suffering.

That depends if the ship is full which I doubt they will be. 1 week in the fjords inside cabin £800 and many people don’t spend extra on board

Mr Magic that’s an excellent post. Today’s statement merely was trying to paper over the horrendus cracks. I’ve cruised with Cunard 9 times and loved every minute but would I cruise at the moment - certainly not. It will only take 1 passenger with COVID to infect the whole ship and will Be a PR disaster that they will never recover from.

The cash burn amazing and at what point will the borrowings exceed the assets - not long. To invest in this you must be brave or need your head testing
