I think that's doubtful - they have lots of retail outlets that M&S wouldn't need - too much deadwood with a checkered history.

I am not sure that anyone has taken a top end mass market brand like Jaeger online globally before???

it will also be interesting to see if M&S launch stand alone websites for Jaeger in the UK and abroad while also selling Jaeger on their own website - I think it would be a good move.
