Yes, 830p could come on Monday but with bad news later in the week the SP could easily be testing 750p.
Hence the need for significant buyers to come in and support the SP and stop the drift, only then will we see a reversal of fortunes - they must have a level in mind where they will come in to support.

Obviously the support just isn't there at the moment as the chart clearly demonstrates and its unlikely the macro will improve any time soon.
So, my guess is that a bounce will only come when one or more of the larger holders decide that its time to buy.
A strategically timed large buy order at say 750p could act to reverse the drop and trigger other buyers into action.

I notice that even AHT is pushing its year low down today - down below 4000p after being 6500p in December.
That puts OCDO's losses into perspective and underlines that the fall is market rather than company related.

Maybe the Government should use a carrot and stick policy to get oil companies to invest in renewables - invest profits in renewables or loose then to a windfall tax.

As a long term investor in growth stocks, I have learnt a valuable lesson over the last few years I have held OCDO.

We have seen a crescendo of high sentiment during the pandemic when the SP pushed way above a realistic valuation for the company and was massively overbought.

This has been followed by the worst possible macro and the return of more normal trading with the passing of Covid.

Does this make OCDO a bad investment for the long term holder?

Most certainly not - you only loose if you sell - patience is needed now, the fundamentals are still excellent, even with the poor macro, and the roll out of the new tech will be much quicker and cheaper now.

The lesson - don't buy growth stocks when sentiment is high.

So, patience is needed - the company will grow to its full potential, as will the SP.

I think the take up of renewables will be led by heavy industry.
Gas could be in expensive and in short supply over the next few years or more and domestic users will get priority, so industrial users will have to look for alternatives - Toyota certainly have the right idea.

Carrington - you might have just brought right at the bottom - fingers crossed.

So much relies on sentiment with growth stocks offering jam tomorrow.
The volatility is bound to be much higher.

As for Ocado, all the company fundamentals are still good - in fact they are much better with the quicker and cheaper to market tech advances - so I keep the faith and just wait for the sentiment to improve.

The SP could ignite if Kroger decide to ramp up their online expansion plans - they are fully committed to Ocado and they are a major shareholder.

Notable that CWR and ITM are both significantly down at the moment and EQT is showing a modest gain.

CWR is very much about the nuts and bolts of the renewables industry with its fuel cells, whereas, ITM is all about big capital projects.
So in my mind they are totally different companies.
With the licencing model, CWR will be waiting for others to invest the big money, but ITM have to spend big to develop their business.
For an investor, ITM presents the most risk because contract delays or slowing of orders could cause problems, although that doesn't seem to be happening at the moment?
Of the two, I think CWR has a much better management team, but that's just my opinion.

M&S always aim to improve their store network.
This usually means moving out of constricted and expensive High Street locations to out of town developments but I think this mainly applies to larger stores rather than food only stores, so unless they found a better or maybe bigger location in Hitchin then the store would stay where it is.

M&S are building their business, not tearing it down like John Lewis/Waitrose.

Hopefully the macro won't continue to push down the SP - any green shoots are likely to reverse the downtrend.

I did think the range this year would be 140-165p, we have fallen below that but are still well above the Covid lows.

So on balance although we are off the highs, I don't see any cause for concern and the next set of numbers will be good even if the outlook looks meagre.

I guess we can now rule out a dividend until the macro improves, whenever that is.
