Yes, the whole market is very quite at the moment - maybe the most significant thing is that even in a low volume environment the SP hasn't fallen at the mercy of the sorts, unlike on previous occasions.

No dramas this morning - the offload continues around 15 hours and counting.

I think that they are still there - it would be wishful thinking to say that they had departed.

It does seem though that the activity has decreased as we don't seem to be hit quite so badly when POO goes down.

Its interesting that the crew brought AK around to facilitate the earliest possible hook up with NH and that NH was at her top speed to get back - a sure indication that AK was brimming.

I think it is my 14 days since the last offload so if AK has produced 600k of crude in that time that gives us 42.86k per day.

Shorts will create hardly any problem at the moment.

However if the SP goes into overbrought territory as a result of a successful stage 2 and the shorts start to rise, that will be the time to be wary.

Shorts thrive on volatility and with so many small investors investing in Sirius that increases the volatility.

If the institutions start buying in after stage 2 then the SP will probably retain its value but if they don't expect a big spike followed by a drop when the traders cash out. It is this drop that the shorts will fully exploit.

The shorts are manipulating the SP to a certain extent but only when buying volume falls back.

As soon as we get some good news or positive media comments they are being blown away.

They may have had some success in the last few months - when the SP dipped in mid June?

Presumably their presence is bond related ???

Just ignore them at the moment there is some much positive news feed that they won't get a look in.

I can shed some light on NH. She had a rendezvous with a small crew supply boat, the Seacat at just after 11.15 BST last night. Maybe an engineer was transferred ??? By around 03.15 BST this morning she was on her way back to Kraken.

Good point Matrix - I guess NH could find herself on the way to Brazil if there are issues and Teekay may have to extend the charter for the two Knutsen shuttle tankers.

The point here is that ENQ probably won't be inconvenienced by waiting another day, but if they had been waiting a week for a slim weather window in the dead of winter and then been let down the implications could have been very serious.

Actually unless this load was planned as a 600k load a days delay shouldn't cause a problem because AK's capacity is 500k - hopefully load 21 will be in around 11 days instead of 13

I am not so sure - I think that the speed that NH is travelling she is heading to Aberdeen for a quick repair and then back to AK.

Britannia seems to be back working again Matrix - she is currently heading for an Indian refinery.
