Stride is on her way to the US - the destination port of USCLQ has not been recognized on Marine Traffic but appears to be Chalmette Louisiana.

Chalmette has a refinery it is situated on the Mississippi River, it is basically a suburb of New Orleans.

I have come to the conclusion that the oil market doesn't follow the laws of supply and demand most of the time.

It goes into crisis when either supply or demand go dramatically out of balance but for the rest of the time it is simply governed by manipulation.

When traders are forced to take notice of supply problems the resulting crisis will give us a massive spike like the summer of 2008 - this time though the price might stay high because of the lack of investment.

I would guess that the finances are quite good and that they pulled the plug because the strategy clearly wasn't working.

Its listed as a tug but is actually a supply boat with a hiab.

Although Stride is moored close to the Zeeland and Dow refineries it does now seem that this is not her destination.

It seems she is currently being bunkered for an onward journey - yet to be confirmed.

I guess they chose this location because she doesn't need tugs to assist her movements.

I am not sure that it is a change of strategy or the revealing of a strategy but you are absolutely correct in your analysis.

With this statergy SXX wont just be a miner, they will become a manufacturer as well and the sky is the limit with that statergy - they could for example add other minerals or organic substances to Poly 4 to produce compound fertilisers [balanced mixes].

Todays news is a real game changer in my view and should add extra profitability to SXX with the more profitable manufactured products.
