Totally agree jesse but the idiots wont be able to resist the reflective glory from Sirius - politicians thrive on good news and Sirius is a good news story !!!
Actually if Trumpet reduces the US reserves simply to try a manipulate POO that could backfire on him big time in the longer term. When the supply crunch does come the US will have less reserves to tide them over and they will be forced to buy more oil in a thinly supplied market - Trumpet could create a big price spike !!!
So we are being offered 635 new shares at 2p each for every 1000 we own plus the opportunity to apply for more subject to availability - details will be posted to us tomorrow with a General Meeting on 2nd August.
Its looking like POO may fall further before it bounces but the reasoning behind the fall seems a bit vague - ie the increase in production from Libya. I guess Saudi will simply reduce production to compensate.
It looks to me that the fall was premeditated by the hedge funds or some large trading group simply to make a killing.
When the bounce comes I still think Brent will smash $80.
Yes, as cadburyhill says we get a chance with the open offer.
The accelerated book build will probably conclude today and we should I think get another RNS later this afternoon or tomorrow morning with the result and hopefully the news that suspension will be lifted tomorrow morning.
This process is all part of owning a developing company on AIM and has to be accepted as part of the risk with a long term hold. Hopefully if we participate in the open offer the SP will rise above the offer price to give us a good start in retrieving our losses.
How all this will affect the SP at the end of the day is the unknown but the placing price is very low so I guess we should expect a low start but we will get a chance to participate so we can average down.
It seems most of the funding will be by accelerated bookbuild, so that will probably be done within hours and ITX will probably return from suspension tomorrow.
Yes, it would certainly be great if it was more but on the plus side, apart from the March shutdown, production has been very regular at 35k bpd since January.
