Yes, I have always wondered how accurate the EIA figures are and if they are manipulated, not just by Trump but by others, including oil traders etc. - I guess Trump would say the figures are manipulated in the national interest - maybe they are???

But, is a container vessel suitable for transporting the TBM - is it not more likely that the sections were transfered onto trailers and will be transported via a ro-ro ferry???

I think that Russia saying that they want to formalise OPEC+ cooperation is very significant.

After Trump duped OPEC and Russia over Iranian sanctions I think the gloves are off now and OPEC and Russia are very determined to push up the oil price regardless of what the US does. Even at the expense of lower output to ajust to demand.

Brent at $80 is looking more likely by the day.

Small cargo ships run cargo's all over Europe from this location.

Yes it certainly was Norma but she has probably transferred her cargo to the dockside - she stopped and transferred cargo at three different locations - presumably if she was carrying containers the TBM was dropped at the last one drop - where she was moored las night at Maasulakte Rotterdam Port - she is now waiting to refuel for a return trip back up the Rhine.

I will see if I can identify a vessel for the transfer to Immingham.

No luck with the tracking the vessel taking the TBM to Immingham - the TBM is probably on the quayside somewhere in the Maasvlakte area at Rotterdam Port - so it will be fairly easy to keep a look out for vessels leaving this part of Rotterdam Port for Immingham over the next few days or so.

I would say closer to 32k - but we lost 2-3 days due to bad weather - so maybe closer to 35k is possible.

It would be a real result if the next load came 25-26th Feb then we would be close to 35-36k.

It looks like a standard 525-550k load - 12.5m draught on AS.

AS is on her way to Scapa Flo for a STS - probably with the BP tanker British Reliance.

it looks like the oil traders have pressed the rinse and repeat button again - Brent is coming up again after a brief dive to $61.20

The dreadful UK GDP figures issued today are also a big negative at the moment - I think the reason they are so bad is mainly down to Brexit.

When Brexit is resolved I think that will give the market a big boost - especially companies that trade in the UK - I think the pound will also rise and sentiment will improve and hopefully trading volume as well.

In fact that might be the main thing that we need to get the SP rising again - along with Brent.
