Yes, but I would be wary about giving a company such as ICL exclusive access to a particular market.

SM has to look at supplying as many different customers as possible - don't put all your bread in one basket - best prices from lots of customers - ADM will be the exception to that rule.

I see a clear distinction between a mining company and a fertiliser producer.

The mining company has a very broad range of customers across the globe, if it is owned by a fertiliser producer that means that it is compromised from acting independently in the market place.

Likewise if the mining company starts producing a wide range of fertiliser products it is directly competing with its customers.

Marketing Poly4 is different - that is simply polyhalite with a starch covering made user friendly.

I think that ICL will keep Boulby open until SM are up and running with good volume - simply to guarantee continuity of supply.

I think ICL will enter into a long term supply agreement with SM and build a new fertiliser production plant on Teesside - supplied directly by conveyer.

Personally I dont think that ICL are interested in anything other than a supplier customer relationship with SM - they dont require the large volumes that SM will produce - they make their money with high margins on top end products.

ICL are actually giving SM a massive boost by marketing and selling polyhalite in this way.

To have one of the largest and most respected, by their customers, players in the fertiliser industry giving a full endorsement of polyhalite and even using it in their top end products, where they have a virtual monopoly, is invaluable and should allow SM to structure their prices towards the top end of expectations.

SS is on now her way to Scapa Flo with probably the usual 550k on board.

The hook up lasted about 31 hours.

SS will be doing a STS in Scapa Flo with Caspian Sea - no details of her destination as yet.

Almost 25 hours and counting - the weather is ok.
