I think that it is important to remember that CF has been putting together big financial deals for mines throughout his career - maybe we should just let him get on with it - there is still plenty of leeway.

My reading is that CF is an eternal optimist and someone who pushes himself with deadlines - in his job that is probably the only way - we have I think to give him another couple of weeks to sort things out - even though in my mind the end of April was a clear deadline.

One thing that I think you could add is that Poly4 will make it much easier and economical for farmers to produce crops organically - Organic matter plus Poly4 - organic farmers take much greater care of the soil and the environment than other farmers.

The next update is due on the Thursday 23rd May but we may not need to wait as long as that for a positive response because Cairn have an update on Friday 19th May.

If Cairn give a positive update for Kraken - including a reassessment of their version of the reserves - we could be in a very strong position with much higher buying volume when we get the trading update from Enquest.

Excellent result and a new shuttle tanker for Kraken - Grena Knutsen has the same capacity as Heather Knutsen - she generally services Glen Lyon - both tankers are on charter to Teekay.

Time to start looking - keep an eye on Heather Knutsen - currently waiting to be unloaded in Rotterdam.

When she leaves Rotterdam she is likely to make her way to MacDuff and then hopefully on to Kraken by the end of the week

We are at the stage now when the big boys have come on board - they have evaluated the product offering and found uses for it.

The current stage is to sell it to their customers or adopt usage it in their own products - this is why we wait.

Its all a long process and last summer ITX ran out of cash waiting - hence the dilution - hopefully this time with a new board and reduced costs, after scaling back the UK operation, we will see some early action.

There is some income now from smaller players but I share the optimism that this is just the start.

ITX is an idea opportunity for new long term holders and this is an excellent time for existing shareholders to top up.

That puts everything into context - I see now why the rig numbers are so important.

The fact is then that with so many players no one really knows how long production will continue at the current levels - its all a bit like the California Gold Rush.

Do we not need to be a little more analytical when interpreting these numbers?

It has been reported that the US producers are getting significantly more oil from wells by horizontal drilling - do we know if this is fact or just exaggeration?

Well it was Trump's policies that pushed Brent up at the beginning of the week and Trump's mouth, or rather his finger, that dropped Brent back again - and some more - today.

Enquest is down just 0.02p in a week that promised so much more - roll on the May update.

Yes, It would be a good way of getting the ball rolling from day one of the contract with BayWa.

Yes, but the offering has to be refined a bit before they start marketing in Europe - otherwise customers will close their minds to the product or get confused. I think that SM and BayWa need to team up with a fertiliser manufacturer to offer Poly4 in a few mixes as well as just straight and that would include an organic mix [very important in the European market].

The ADM model is structured around US agriculture - large scale, highly mechanised etc - Poly4 with its starch coating fits perfectly into this structure - it should do ADM and SM have developed it for that use. Likewise it should work in Brazil.

I would say the jury is still out for Poly4 in Europe - large scale farming yes but smaller scale will I think still want their compound mixes - but we shall see how Ba Wa get on with the marketing - it is difficult to sell a product that only does half the job - another deal to blend Poly4 with a Nitram type product, or even with organics, would I think help Ba Wa get Poly4 to market.

At least its pushed up volume - much better now.

The volume today is abysmal - after Tuesday this is very disappointing - there is just no momentum.
