I don't think the load will be bigger than 550k - its going to the US on a limited capacity tanker - up the Mississippi.

My guess is that AK was getting fairly full so to avoid the bad weather on Friday they brought the offload forward a few days to ensure that production could continue. GK will go back on Sunday/Monday to complete her load.

No weather issues until this evening and then tomorrow is stormy with fairly rough weather on Saturday so it could be Sunday before she hooks up again - if she is going to.

The offloading at Alveheim is done with two separate hook ups by the same shuttle tanker so this is not unusual - we shall see.

12 hours and counting - weather is ok until Thursday evening.

I guess we now have the same problem here now as we do at Enquest - sentiment is shot.

But the solution is the same - prove the market wrong - both companies have the capacity to do that and both will eventually turn out to be fantastic investments.

Regarding proving Poly4 that is already in the bag - ICL are having a great sucess with their Polysulphate product - polyhalite mined at Boulby.

The SP seems to be holding at this level so I think that we can be confident that its only positive from here on.

The after effects of dilution are always something to endure but with growth companies they are inevitable - you just have to concentrate on the future - with SM that is very bright - the mine is funded and when production starts the economics look great.

SM has always been about a very long term hold with a bumpy ride at times but I have known a lot worst with other growth companies.

Yes, MO was the one with the insight - hopefully we can maybe tempt him back if he is following the improvements in AK's fortunes - he certainly deserves his share in the up coming reversal of fortunes.

I am not sure that we can find out how much oil is flowing through the pipelines.

However, I have noticed that the Sullom Voe terminal has been busy throughout the winter - maybe more now than when BP ran it.

Right from the start most of Kraken's crude has gone to the US and the loads are generally governed by the size of the tankers that can service their ports - its a bit of an assumption but it can be roughly checked by looking at the draught of the tankers before and after loading.

The gross tonnage of the tankers taking the loads is usually around 60000 tonnes - as you can see with this current load due for a STS in Scapa Flo the Minivera Altantica is 61371 tonnes.

Well this is how it finished - I think that we can conclude from that astonishingly high volume that a lot of the shorts have now cashed out - good riddance.

Tomorrow is another day and we will I think start to see the benefits of a successful stage 2 in the SP.

Anyone who didn't top up today - you still have another chance tomorrow - personally I took the opportunity - it was a bit like our own little rights issue at a rock bottom price.

It seems to me that large spikes and big falls in the price of Brent are the result of simple incompetence from the worlds leaders and oil producers.

If they all got together and agreed a series of quotas that were regularly reviewed to match supply with demand we would all be in a much better place.

It was all going so well but now we have tanker tease.

GK has turned away from AK - looks like tomorrow now for the hook up.

All progressing very well - hook up around 15.00 -16.00BST by the looks of things.

As a compromise why don't you wait and see if the shorts have another go at pulling down the SP later in the day then you can top up again.

It sounds like quite a few of us took advantage of our own private rights issue today - around 18p is a real bargain!!!

The big question is how many shorts will close today ???
