Profit taking and the shorts pushed the SP back below 20p but there is still plenty of buys going through and many of them are auto trades so I guess someone - or more than one - is building a stake.

Regarding Bumi - they are in meltdown - a real financial mess - lots of redundancies - although they do have one of Asia's richest men backing them so they are unlikely to go into administration.

Having said that they have committed to improve AK - as from last December - so the latest increase in production could be with their help. Also the 3 week shutdown in Q3 may be for their assistance.

I guess with the excess share applications that SM will want all applicants to get a quota - so they will set an upper limit that anyone can get and then just allocate a percentage to each applicant depending on how may they apply for.

Volatility is always a factor with growth stocks just jumping from one funding round onto the next - its probably why the institutions leave them alone - no income just potential.

SM hasn't actually been to bad - so far - compared to pharma stocks its a breeze - but we all see the potential here and allied to the sentiment SM has a very bright future.

We have had some very serious dilution since then - I was down 95% at one stage - this is a new start loaded with massive potential but any comparison with the past SP is meaningless.

The simple fact is that any CEO in CF's position would have done the same - everything overrides the one priority of getting the mine built by any means, what ever the cost to shareholders.

The offer is open to those who held shares on 1st May - what we dont know is how many have sold out since then - especially on those high volume days following - so it is possible that there may be more excess shares around than expected beacuse those that have sold are probably less likely to take up their allocation.

Cairn have their own update due out next Friday 19th may - that should give us some insight and hopefully kick start the SP to give it a running start when the Enquest update is published the following Thursday 23rd May.

Momentum and sentiment !!!

Applying logic hydrogen is the only way forward - simply produce it using green fuel - costal wind solar etc - then pump it into the gas mains to power domestic and industrial boilers to produce heat and generate electricity using steel cells for storage.
Develop motor transport to run with hybrid electrical-hydrogen engines using steel cells.

Its all logical and very achievable using existing infrastructure.

Well the increased tariffs are now in place and talks are continuing - the expectation now seems to be that a deal will still be made but the timeline has changed and we may have to wait as long as the autumn before there is a resolution.

Assuming the rise of the last few days holds it looks like the Open Offer will be a great success - I think there is little chance of getting many excess shares but have added 20% over my allocation just in case.

The open offer is more like a rights issue - only open to existing shareholders on the basis of one new share for every 22 held with the option for shareholders to apply for more subject to availability.

The deadline depends on the broker - The Share Centre for example is 14.00BST on the 16th May.

At least the Chinese are still coming to the US for talks - there may be hope?
