I am not saying that Johnson would give into pressure and cancel the licencing rounds, but with the UK hosting the UN talks he will certainly be under political pressure to do so. Its likely that the Opposition will also push a bid to cancel the licencing round to gain political capital. The net result somewhere down the line could be negative, especially with regard to tax.
Biden is also likely to adopt the same sort of policies in the US to curb shale exploration - putting more pressure for other countries to follow the lead.
Likewise, with its green agenda, Norway will come under similar pressure.
Also it pushes the green agenda in the EU and makes adoption of renewable energy alternatives much more likely.
