I think that it will come simply because there is customer demand for click and collect - but maybe not until more capacity becomes available at Ocado. Customers who cannot use home delivery for some reason or who cannot get a convenient slot would I think find it very useful.
I seem to remember that Ocado acquired a company that ran automated click and collect using robots - maybe this would be an option in some of M&S's larger stores.
Also they could offer the service at convenience stores - especially those at service stations - the introduction of electric cars means drivers will be waiting for their cars to charge - a good time to collect the groceries.

Petronordic is just closing in on Kraken for a hook-up, maybe today - the weather is ok for the next few days but Saturday is marginal.

One interesting point New Mexico is a Democrat run state with a Democrat Governor and their electoral college votes went to Biden who got 54.3% of the vote - without a champion in the White House, US shale will have few friends and will be a weak lobby.

The green lobby, including Greenpeace, haven't accepted the advantages of Green Hydrogen yet, mainly I think because they don't see the technological advances that we do. There is still a long way to go to persuade them and the general public that Green Hydrogen is the way forward especially as the 2030 target for electric cars is a reality.

The way forward will be with large commercial vehicles powered by green hydrogen, hopefully by the time they become mainstream, maybe 2030, we will also start to see mass produced cars powered by green hydrogen appearing.

The partners and the regulator have approved the Group as operator of the field and well abandonment activities that were scheduled to take place by Equinor have been completed. The Group continues to work closely with the regulator to extend the Bressay licenses as it progresses towards completion of the transaction.
Bressay is expected to offer the Group significant 2C resources of up to 115 MMbbls, net to EnQuest and provides the opportunity for a long-term, low cost, phased sub-sea tie back project, potentially to the Kraken field."

Both brokers are clearly following Ocado very closely and are fine tuning their price targets regularly - it will be interesting to see how they react when revenue starts to flow from Ocado Solutions.

The self imposed supply reduction during the M&S transition was certainly very necessary because basket sizes increased so much that without it the whole platform could have fallen over. As it was there were a few cases of customers failing to get their orders that the media swooped on.

The point is that anyone familiar with the technology can come to their own conclusions as to the merit of this case - all the info is on this link and the whole process is very transparent.

Enquests's SP follows Brent but it lags when Brent is rising - simply because volume on ENQ is generally poor and only picks up when enough investors wake up to the fact that Brent is on the move.

But when Brent falls they bale out double quick and the SP drops like a stone.

I certainly agree that Brent will spike now and sentiment is improving - ENQ will move towards 20p - how far it gets depends on Brent.

Actually good for M&S as well - with restaurants closed, demand for eat in will be higher, especially at the top end.

Yes, I think that M&S has moved to its "Light at the end of the Tunnel" valuation now and that now it will need positive numbers to push it higher.
The good news is that the Christmas numbers should do just that.

I did wonder why there were so many infections in the northern part of Kent and why it was getting progressively worst and spreading west towards London and south towards Dover - it seems that the variant is responsible.
I guess its the same variant that affected parts of Spain earlier in the Autumn.

I guess that just shows how far Ocado have to go to satisfy demand, even with current customers.
It should be much better next year, when an extra 40% capacity starts to become available.
Down here in Sussex the next slots available are on Jan 2nd.

The most effective way for Ocado Retail to build up market share is obviously to build more CFC's.
But how can this be achieved?
The simple answer is to sell the other 50% of Ocado Retail to a big mid market player.
This would give access to the capital needed to expand the business.
The mid market player doesn't have to be from the big four, it could be a foreign group like Kroger or even a FTSE 100 company that wants to get into the Grocery market, maybe ABF for example - that would set the cat among the Pigeons!
