Hopefully the public will panic buy and clear the shelves by Christmas Eve.

We have a case of throwing everything up in the air and having no idea where it will land!

I think the Christmas is destined to turn into a damp squib with some lacklustre sales this week.
On the run up through November into December M&S have probably traded very well but they could get left with perishable stock this week that will badly dent profits.
We have to be realistic unfortunately.

The difference now is that the Kraken oil isn't going to oil refineries but to be blended for the bunkering market.

In Rotterdam earlier in the year Kraken crude was landed at the dock of a company specialising in blending fuel oil - later in the summer another load was unloaded at a small oil storage site on a Indonesian Island close to Singapore.
