Look back the whole year until March 2020
Granted we may be seeing the start of a recovery in oil shares but Brent looks to be oversold now - so its still not buying time for me yet.

Since the lows of last March the easiest way to invest has been to follow the recovery - firstly with stocks that benefited from Covid - then the stocks in vogue eg hydrogen - then the big hitters who were always going to come back - then retail and now hospitality - oil stocks haven't got to the top of the list yet but they will, even though it looks like they will be last to recover - compare the last years charts for ENQ and BP - even the oil majors are still to recover, when they do that will be a big signal to buy ENQ.

I haven't sold but I do have just a very small holding - less than 1% of my total portfolio at the moment - when the time is right I will buy more.
In the meantime, I am just trying to be objective - in a way its easier when you just hold a small stake.

I think it would probably end up at 9p rather than 11p Ammu especially if Brent falls.

Hedging now will do little to raise the SP from the doldrums because it will limit revenue if Brent does spike - minimal debt can be paid off with Brent at these levels.

On the other hand Brent will probably fall now in the short term back towards $52 so it may be prudent to hedge now, but it is not likely to stay at $52 for long and will probably be back at $56 by March.

On balance it is probably better to wait.

I think that click and collect is as important as home delivery - this will become clearer when the pandemic is over.
When Ocado Retail get more capacity they should roll out the service so that Ocado orders can be collected in as many M&S stores - including convenience stores - as is practical.
Customers visiting both Ocado.com and M&S.com should have the option of combining orders for delivery or collection and both sites should be linked - although some goods may need to be delivered separately.

Yep, its all down to Brent.

last January it didn't quite get to 30p and then it fell back rapidly because of Covid - before Autumn 2018 the SP was over 30p most of the time - that's why investors took shares in the rights issue for Magnus, but since then things have been very poor - I doubt anyone made money from the rights issue.

The SP has always lagged what it "should do" - unless it is falling - ENQ is just lethargic and bloody frustrating.

18p is a realistic target as for 30p that is impossible to predict - its over 2 years since Enquest got to those lofty heights and there are more shares issued now.

Your enthusiasm is commendable but would have more impact if you set realistic targets otherwise your observations are simply full of hot air.
Also, it looks likely that Brent is now unfortunately moving into overbought territory although it will hopefully hold on to some of its gains and trade between $52 - $55 for the next month or two with a $55 - $58 target for the Spring.

To state the obvious, I think todays rise was simply a result of the M&S trading update.
We have seen before that this does make a difference to the SP on the day - even though as we know it is Ocado Solutions that actually drives the SP.

The M&S update confirmed that Ocado Retail was performing well and seems to have given OCDO a boost today.
The update itself also indicated good progress in the rest of M&S's online business that will in the longer term have benefits for Ocado Retail, maybe in terms of a joint venture to launch click and collect of Ocado groceries from M&S stores.

Yes, very much a glass half full update but its the potential that matters - after all we want to grow our investment, not for it too flatline.

I will say it quietly - now over 4p.

IP also sold CWR back in July when the SP was 579p - today it is 1470p.

The media still seem content to knock M&S - old habits die hard - one day though that will change - when it comes to the media you are either in or out.
