Yes, it would certainly have to be done properly - why not start by installing myrmex technology as a pilot in couple of large M&S stores - somewhere like York for example where they have a large city centre store and a large out of town store.

The best thing to do when a top pick like CWR moves to overbought is simply to top slice and invest the profit elsewhere or hold the cash and wait till it falls back to a realistic price and reinvest.

I see what you are saying and that might be a possible outcome but Enquest is likely to become a cheap takeover target before that happens - simply because a new owner would see the potential before investors did - also don't forget the tax credits.
Institutional investors are not interested in energy companies that only have assets in oil anymore or at least not enough of them are. But they love companies that invest in renewables, as do small investors.

This is the problem Kraken - to much trading not enough holding - all driven by small investors and traders.
Enquest really needs Brent to shoot up to persuade investors to hold but even then they will eventually take profits and the SP will fall back again.
Enquest needs a larger shareholder base - it needs a back bone of institutional investors and the only way to get that is to diversify away from oil. Other than that it will probably end being taken over or merging with another energy company.

Simply that the market cap was too low - stretching back to Woodford's demise.

The SP is being tested well this morning alongside other hydrogen shares.
It will be interesting to see what happens next, but CWR does seem to be fighting back - not sure about others in the sector.
I think the bubble has probably burst for the moment but my earlier fears that the SP would fall back maybe unfounded and we could just flat line for a while.

Brent looks like it might hold at around $55.5 but a red day on equities.
Maybe a good day to buy if you are convinced that Brent will continue to rise - one small step and all that.

WTI is now trading - it fell back a bit to take out a spike just before close on Friday but traders now seem to be contemplating the next move at $52.395.

The consensus seems to be that if Brent continues to rise that Enquest's SP will rise back towards 20p.

With so few shares in the hands of large holders - with the exception of AB - any spike in the SP will largely be down to the buying action of small investors. The same investors who have been badly let down this year by the antics of other oil companies. Maybe they will find a new home at Enquest following Brent as it rises and falls.

So share volume will be very interesting as we go into the new week and will probably tell us just as much as the SP what can be expected.

Early trading on Monday 4th Jan gave a good indication with a surge of buys - it will be interesting to see if this is the case tomorrow morning. The best volume came last Friday when 15,289,946 shares were traded, far higher than normal and the best since May 29th 1920 when Brent started to come back from the abyss.

Its much easier to program a robot to pick up a substitute product for a customer than it is for the customer to nip into a supermarket and just find a gap and no sub.

One thing that probably does underpin the SP in MAB and the other companies that boselecta mentioned is that they are all successful companies that only have cashflow problems as a result of the pandemic.
Therefore, if their SP's did drop down lower they would be highly attractive takeover targets in a UK market that is generally considered to be undervalued anyway.

The problem with oil exports - especially in times when supply exceeds demand - is that producers cheat - just how much crude is flowing between these two for example.

Agreed, but we are still bouncing along the bottom.

Simply based on opinion - oil demand is still limited by Covid until that changes Brent will be pegged back - the bounce will come but not yet and there is no real indication when it will - and with so many oil producers able to flood the market any recovery could easily be wrecked.
The real change will come when demand starts to outpace supply but that may not be until 2022.
