ITX is freely trading now - hence the volume - as the SP increases and individual shares become more expensive the market grows.

Another way of looking at oil supply is that current production may be significantly higher that is being recorded with OPEC+ members cheating the system.

For example how much crude is Russian exporting to China via pipelines across its land border?

If there is significant under reporting and more oil is being used than we think, then it could be that oil supply won't be able to be ramped up as quickly when the pandemic ends and that will result in undersupply with Brent spiking.

I think that Iranian oil is probably finding its way to market anyway - via Russia and Turkey for example - so that can be discounted.
In fact any illegally marketed crude that supplies the market already exists - so can be discounted as a simple percentage that will be there anyway.

Don't forget to factor in Venezuela to any discussion about world oil supplies.
They are dead in the water at the moment but that could change quite quickly if there was political change or new initiatives by the US.

Eventually yes, but it may take a while - long term trend is certainly bullish.

If it does it will probably bounce back to $54-55 on the first bit of good news.
Brent may not recover from Covid with a big spike - it may simply rise slowly throughout the year - especially with OPEC+ manipulating supply.

Certainly agree, I have invested here for about 3 years, but the question was about investing now and to me it seems that CWR is overbought at the moment and we are due a correction of maybe anything up to 20%.
After the correction it becomes a strong buy again - keep an eye on the market cap.

Seems to me that Brent has simply lost the froth of the last 10 days and will flatline for a while now at around $54-55.
Main thing is that is a step up of about $5 since December.

The SP certainly has potential to go to £20 in the long term but that doesn't mean it will rise all the time before it gets there.
Aim shares with potential always tend to get ahead of their true valuation, especially when the sector they are in is so popular.
Market cap at £2,410m seems rich to me - but not as nearly as OTT as ITM with £3,453m.

That could be a big mistake by Next - from a business point of view its much better to let the group die.

With the environmental lobby getting stronger we could see changes in policy inspired by Biden being adopted as law by Congress. The issue of subsidies for the US fossil fuel industry could be addressed. The subsidy is paid by only charging oil companies $2 per acre to lease public land - the same that was charged 100 years ago - and is worth $20.5 billion of which 80% goes to the oil and gas industry.

The rise since December has been dramatic and justified but its possible that we might see a pull back in the short term - if you are buying, buy for a long term hold.

Results for growth shares often tend to have a negative effect on the SP - simply because they are looking back on reality rather than forward at potential - after such a period of rapid growth in the SP that could happen here.

Its interesting that there are applications in the food industry - I hadn't heard that before.
I will have a look and see if I can find any.

On a general point - all these applications, the customer base must be increasing rapidly - for manufactured goods that is the key to growth.

CWR is an excellent long term investment but even that could fall back in the short term - I continue to hold after top slicing twice.
Latest buy has been WTB at a recovery stock. OCADO has been great in 2020. MKS also a good recovery stock from last summer.
Long term winner - that took off just before Christmas is ITX - held that for three years.
Most sectors recovering in anticipation of recovery - except oil, but time will come, that's why I still keep an interest in ENQ.
Now up 325% on paper since last March low.

It probably won't make any difference unless the next tanker is also delayed by the weather - the problem is if AK gets filled and cannot be emptied because of bad weather.

I sold most of my holding in 2019 - when SP was going nowhere then the last few this summer - brought back in with just a few before Christmas - just trying to be realistic - not deramping - my expectations for Brent have improved slightly since before Christmas but basically still waiting for pandemic to ease - also a lot will depend on how OPEC+ ramp up production.

Now closing in for a hook-up - 13 days since the last tanker left.
