The greatest asset of the M&S clothing range are the basics that everyone needs, these don't change much from year to year - in other words the traditional items that were associated with the St Michael brand.
I think that it is time to bring back the St Michael brand for this core range of products - good quality products at reasonable prices - they would also be easy to sell online at M&S.com and Ocado.com
Then use the imported brands like Jaeger for the more upmarket and distinctive items with areas of the larger stores set aside just to display and sell the individual brands maybe even as boutique's within the store with allocated staff.

Neil - you seem to be missing the point - the main reason for the growth of online retail has been to reduce human deaths and misery - the more that we see growth in this sector, the greater the benefit.

Patent disputes will always be a factor with tech companies - they go with the territory - this one will probably rumble on and be settled out of court in a few years time - we will probably end up wondering what all the fuss was about.
Anyway Ocado aren't worried about it, so why should shareholders?

Lots of buyers still plus traders sitting on good profits then selling - any investor that wants a reasonable slice will have to wait to fill an order - we are likely to see much more volatility now but SP will continue the underlying rise - big unknown is when the trading update will come - could be anytime now.

From memory - AK powered by Kraken crude not gas was originally diesel in the early days..
If Bressay is developed gas from that field will be used to exploit the field and for Kraken - more than likely to power AK.

As Therapist noted earlier Scott Spirit is due at Scapa Flo after a hook-up with AK on 17th Jan.
That indicates a probable hook-up on Friday 15th or as late as Saturday 16th.
Friday 15th would be 11 days since the last hook-up - so on target.

Its good to see ITX trading freely with a healthy volume - let the traders take their profits to create the dips and encourage new investment - this is how the SP will grow.

Weichai Power own 19.76% of the shares and Bosch own 17.58%.
Both companies have invested here as a strategic investment for the future so it is probably unlikely that there would be a takeover attempt as things stand.
Although, if Weichai or Bosch pulled out I guess the one left would probably be in a position to take over the company if they wished.

I guess that there will be an RNS by the end of the week confirming details.
I hope the design team are part of the deal - or maybe some or all of them of them could be offered employment - because they are the brand as it constantly evolves over the years.

My instinct is to top slice - to balance my portfolio - but maybe not with an early stage company - however it would be good just to leave profit - we will see - will wait till after the trading update anyway.

I think that the target of having all the over 50's vaccinated by early-mid April is possible provided that there are good supplies of the Oxford Vaccine available - simply because its so easy to store and use.
The US and EU are relying much more on the Pfizer vaccine this has massive limitations - quite apart from the storage temperature the Pfizer vaccine is also difficult to prepare - staff have to be specially trained and it takes 20 mins to prepare each batch of 5 doses of the vaccine - I learnt this from my local GP after my Mother had to wait nearly 1.5 hours past her appointment time to get the jab.
