GK looks to be heading in for a hook-up - will confirm later this morning.

Actually very good for January - production always slides a bit in the winter - also weather delays have been minimal so far.

GK is now just 7.2 nautical miles to the south east of AK if she goes in for a hook-up tomorrow that would be 12 days since the last tanker left. The weather is OK.

GK is due at Scapa Flo first thing Monday morning for a STS with the tanker Front Loki - the same super tanker that took the last Kraken load - she has been waiting at Scapa Flo, therefore, good indications that this is another load of bunkering crude destined for Singapore.

A virtual 20% gain in one month has to be good by any standards - especially as that's without any news.

Even if we do fall back now in a reversing market we can rest assured that we have a good investment that will bounce back on recovery of general sentiment.

I often wonder if investors who contribute to and read these forums can move the SP on low cap companies for extended periods?
I think that its possible even with mid cap companies for short periods especially when an SP plunges and then investors all dive in to buy - PMO being a recent example.

Would not the hedge funds have also been buying Gamestop as the SP increased to protect their position?
That would explain the high volume and why things got out of control.
Maybe the small traders were only the irrational trigger for a weakness in the system that the algorithms didn't account for.

That certainly is true now Neil but brands can be developed and improved.

Also relevant is their acquisition of Karen Miller that they have been running since September 2019 - the Debenhams and Arcadia acquisitions would presumably be combined with that business.

Its interesting to note the different styles between the Boohoo and Karen Miller websites - these guys are certainly good at online marketing - they would seem to be running rings around the opposition.

I think Boohoo's strategy is very clear.

At the moment they have developed a very strong presence in the throwaway fashion market by trading in cheap low grade products for youngsters. They will certainly continue with this strategy.

In addition there intention now is to move up market and build a strong brand for older consumers with better quality product. They couldn't do this with Boohoo branding and it would be difficult and time consuming doing it by developing a new brand.

So, they are buying the Debenhams brand and web site as a quick and effective way into the market - they will also add any Arcadia brands to the website to further strengthen their offering ang give them credibility with older consumers.

It seems the US oil industry is now becoming desperate as its influence wains in the Biden era.

Personally, I have never been impressed with the price promise vouchers and am pleased to see them go.

Its much better just to flag up bargains and let the customer decide.

Its irreverent what other retailers are charging anyway - the customer has already chosen Ocado and will be looking to them to provide good service, quality and value.

They confirm that they are in exclusive discussions with the administrator to take over the brands of Burton, Dorothy Perkins and Wallis.
Note this is the brands - not the stores.

The weather is OK - in fact remarkably calm for the coming week.

Its worth looking at the one year share chart for EVE - EVE took off in early August last year in a similar way to ITX.

Their SP has been all over the place since then and I guess we will see a similar pattern here over the coming months. Although EVE hasn't got anywhere near the same potential as ITX.

I have been investing here since the shares were about 15p so can be objective.
No argument that Ceres is a good buy and the potential is enormous but the share is fully valued now and unless buyers can take advantage of the dips like we saw this morning, then the risk involved is too high. Look elsewhere for Covid recovery stocks. However, very good luck to anyone who got in at around 1200 today.

Its good to see that the market is coming to terms with the new valuation for ITX after the dramatic rise followed by the price adjustment. Hopefully now the SP will grow back towards the year high.

The fall today has brought Ceres back more or less in line with the rising trend line since the March low - I think we will probably get a slower rise now because tech shares in general are now rising slower and dare I say the hydrogen bubble has burst.
