Just thinking of another way of looking at the Vulpes Deal. OK, so they got a whole bunch of shares at 5p, but!! Let's just presume for a minute that BioNtech actually want to do a deal pre-Nasdaq Float. Knowing that we were strapped for cash, what would be our negotiating position be? ..... My point is, without the Vulpes injection of working capital there is the possibility of a reduced price obtained from a BioNtech deal and it could cost more than the £3.8M. Crumbs always proffers a £10M upfront with royalties, but "Cap in Hand" the very much needed deal may be reduced to £5M and reduced royalties. This may have been a fantastic deal for Vulpes (77.3 m shares) But turn it round and given BioNtech 'come a knocking' , it may of been a bit of 'a coup' for our Board of Directors..... There is more than one way of looking at a most positive Vulpes deal. Chester.

Morning each and all, Yesterday was an incredibly positive day. To have the degree of scrutiny that Vulpes provides has shaken off any doubts I had about my faith in Scancell's science. So content to just enjoy the next three to six months knowing that the day the first SCIB 1 / CI data is announced I'll probably order some champagne. On the Biontech front I'm sure end of June is the agreed time limit on the collaboration. Chester.

That's another good point. BionTech may well ask for a further extension.

I did pose the question a few weeks back, would it be savvy for BionTech to wait until they have had their IPO in the States before doing a deal with Scancell. I don't claim to know the correct answer but there may be some very good reasons to do that.

Its a very specific amount, why not £4M or even £5M ?

Is it because Scancell know that's enough working capital to see the Trial Data, Delivered??

Is it because they know the science will work, not if or maybe, just will work?

Is it because Scancell BOD know that once that Trial Data is 'in', finance will not be an issue?

Welcome Clive, It's good to have you on board. I was surprised that the SP only rose to £3.30 before falling back. With the two great pieces of news, the Fosun deal and the 1st Cohort results in RP, I honestly expected the price to reach £3.80 / £4.00. Just shows its so very difficult to call. The price was always going to reduce while we await the next chunk of news. However, this clamour to bring down Neil Woodford is vastly overdone when you consider the effect its having on the Reneuron SP. If you believe that the 1st Cohort results in RP will be repeated in all following Cohorts then this reduction offerd a fantastic opportunity to buy shares at a price they should never, ever, have returned to. Saying all that, I think we all will be happy when that next positive update is announced. ATB, Chester.

No one is going to buy 1 share when the share price is in the pennies. So why would such a transaction exist? I took a look at VAL trades today and there was a definite spike after the 1 share trade at 14.16pm. So, code or not it caused a reaction in the share price, which was possibly intentional. Very interested to see what happens at 7.00am tomorrow. If there is an RNS, what do we glean from that? Chester

Just shows how much work is going into the foundations of Scancell. You would think that they have a masterplan to build Immunocology powerhouse. We expect news worthy RNS's to just flow but the detailed work going on in the background needs time to get right and for a tiny £20m MCap company we certainly own some amazing science....

Hi Inanaco Just seen your message. My point was, if, Biontech asked for an extension, not that they have. Meaning if they concluded that it was better to float the company and then do a deal. But you have outlined that it is probably just common sense to strike a deal at the earliest opportunity. Chester.

Thanks Inanaco, Given that they asked for the six month extension means I'm quietly confident that the collaboration is going well. So an announcement prior to their flotation to say that a deal has been done with Scancell on TCR / CD4 T Cells would go a long way to convincing big investors to uptake stock. It will be a very special day on our long journey when we read that a deal has been agree. Thanks for taking a timeout from your project work to answer my question so fully. Chester.

Question for the Panel : Let's just presume that BioNtech find they need Scancell's Moditope platform because it makes their TCR platform work. What makes more commercial sense, to make an announcement that a deal has been done with Scancell before or after their float on the US stock exchange? Would like some more view's because I can't make my mind up what would play better.......... and if they did ask for a further extension until the end of December I would like to understand why...

This is exactly the kind of situation where Warren Buffett would step in and buy the lot. His mantra is to always understand the future potential of a share and not what the herd are up to....... Just wish I had a few beer tokens spare. Chester
