I'm still baffled as to what the FDA could be so concerned about in the US SCIB 1 / Checkpoint Inhibitor trial to hold it up by 8 months. It has been said on here that its down to Ichor’s Tigrig 2 delivery system, but what on earth can be so difficult that takes this amount of time to resolve when the UK arm has been approved? Does anyone have a clue what it is??? Chester

Hi Harley24, I'll take a crack at your question. In short we do not know, but.... It is "Probable" that at the end of June we will have some sort of financial tie up with Biontech on their TCR project, or, it is "Possible" that a financial deal is done with a large Pharma Co. on the Modi pipeline, or there is the "Potential" that if the other two don't happen there will have to be a rasing of funds. Hi Drac1 You pose two very acute questions : Why didn't someone buy up the whole CF holding? Also, if the science has so much potential why is the price so cheap? Have you seen what happened recently to Reneuron? Exactly the same doubts about the science and a collapsed share price, but the company kept their combined mouths shut while due diligence continued in the labs. As soon as the first data was released all in sundry came out to say "what a fantastic company, we always believed in the science". My point is that most people / investors want the proof then they believe. I've read Scancell's releases and I'm already convinced that the spectacular results achieved in humanised mice will have the same spectacular results when administered in humanised humans. It's all about knowledge if you understand the science it's a no brainer but if you don't it's a gamble and you don't know the odds so it's a punt.... Hope that kind of helps. Chester

Morning C7 Glad to have you back on board HMS Scancell........... It's been a very interesting week, a mega shock with CF taking us down to 3.7p, it hurts just writing it. But the RNS news of the Modi 1 Cab was so welcome. I believe that the SCLP Modi science has been tested and verified in all models except human beings but when that happens it will work. So these debacles with the FDA, Capital Finance and the Funding smokescreen have caused the price to plummet. Well as a semi-LTH and stout believer I've just carry on buying shares and more shares than I ever thought I could own. A word about the BOD, they have always used our money wisely. Many other companies plough through the cash and fund raise at will, we could already have the number of shares we'll over 500M. So because I'm not privy to everything that's happening on the day to day, I trust they know what they know about potential deals and where the funds are going to be found. We're closer than ever to that game changing RNS. Chester (honourery member of team positive).

When do we expect to see the final accounts?

I'll start the ball rolling with a very modest £7.50/share. Based on positive data from Cohorts 2, 3 & 5 in the RP Phase ll trials and a further deal say with Japan...

That's the point of my message. If everyone who holds shares just took a deep breath and held tight until say December the share price would not go through these convulsions. Holders who got in early are being tested by the reducing price which in part is manipulated. Patience is all that is needed...

Without City Financial rock bottom was probably 7p........ Their selling over the last 6 weeks has pushed the price to unjustified levels. Great news today, should say Quality news today. Now we just need the FDA to find a pen...... Chester

We're just witnessing a traders feeding frenzy. The important thing is that you can currently build a foothold at £2.75 ish. It's like Base Camp on a long climb. The next stop will probably be when we get the data report on the second cohort of Phase 2, RP... I know it's fantastic when the price is going up every day but that's not how it's going to be. But..... Can you imagine where the price might be when we all sit down to Christmas Dinner this year.... Proper exciting prospect... Patience is key.

We cant know exactly but there were a lot of todays red trades that were buys and it probably was the majority.
It tells me that there is a lot of appetite for Scancell shares.
The share price has been relentlessly depressed for months and with that go's market confidence.
I'm quite buoyant about how tomorrow will play out because I think there are enough people aware of how transformational Scancell will be to the Cancer Immunotherapy Sector when positive data is announced.
Scib 1 Combi or Scib 2 ( CRUK ) or Modi 1 or Modi 2 ....plus plus plus.

An end of June deal with BionTech would get the ball rolling nicely.

16.3 Million Shares ..... so that does look like the entire holding of City Finance dumped.

So no news at all with regards to City Finance or other reason for the sell off and no end of the day late reported large sells.

If its not City or another large holder of SCLP unloading what is it ?

There is a suggestion on another board that its a Fund Raise at 4p or 3.75p but why would Scancell raise funds at this time, is it just mischief making or could there be substance to such a claim.

All I know is that something does not add up.

Anyone who is serious about Scancell know that we will either get a deal with Biontech which will cover our costs for a good period or we will need to raise funds through a placing. The only random is at what price ?
With some sort of deal it would mean a raise a much higher than current.
But I stay realistic and 3.8p was too good an opportunity to not top up.

The volumes are tiny compared with the drop, I agree looks like a major sell . If it is the Capital shares that are being dumped I may take the opportunity to top up.

Yes we've move to £100M MCap and it does seem to be held at this point. I'm really surprised, it's like being back at the old 3p which we hovered around back and forth for what seemed like years. With all the recent good news I really expected to reach the £4.00 range. Anyway cannot be negative its a far better picture than when we were in the no news £17M MCap days.

Hi Van Without being in a scientist whose left Uni with a 1st or masters in this field of bio, the only way I or your goodself have gleaned some understanding is because of the input from this BB. There are about 5 or 6 posters who by debating what Scancell are doing have educated us to a point where we say 'why isn't the world jumping all over this share'. The answer lies somewhere between a lack of knowledge and the doubt that a small Bio-tech from the UK could be just about to change the world. Also I don't think Scancell would give up the company to Biontech as they could not raise enough funds. Genetech probably wouldn't risk the right money at this stage. So they wait until its proven to work in humans in the clinic. I think this is what Inanaco means when he says: "Tick Tock"...
