Hi Nomlungu To explain what I meant is to say that I bought shares in Scancell as an investment and not a short term trading opportunity. Of course I'm frustrated that the share value has gone down but I never lost my primary faith that the science / technogy / cancer treatment would ultimately get to trials. I hold on to the fact that the original SCIB 1 trial has kept a few very lucky people alive for over six years. We know and can have confidence that the science or biological method used by Scancell works in human beings and gives me confidence that the MODI platform will also work when tested in the upcoming trial. So to summarise I can say that fundamentally I bought in for the Science and not the ups and downs of the price. The honest answer is I bought Scancell shares because if the promise is fulfilled then I expect a value in pounds not pence. Hope that explains what I wrote earlier. Chester.

Just read that article on the Nanotechnology delivery system. Looks extremely positive for the future. We've had some excellent news recently and it would be a full house if both the 'FDA give approval to the combi trial in the USA' and 'Biontech sign on the dotted line with a deal on the MODI platform for thier TCR programme' all in the next month. My Scancell glass has always been half full all through the recent happenings, even as the share price got a kicking because fundamentally I've not invested in the share price I've invested in the Science. All these back and forth discussions reinforce my understanding of how and why Scancell are finally in a position to show the effectiveness of SCIB 1 (H2- 2019) and MODI 1 (Early 2020). Try and explain to someone who doesn't have a remote understanding of Bio Science how these treatments work and all you get are blank looks. You might as well being suggesting 'magic' as a treatment. Then there are a few on here who just bought a few shares and just think it must be easy so why can't they just get on with it and why don't Big Pharma get it....? Well we're not at Star Trek levels of technology yet and these are still baby steps into a whole new world of cancer treatment. The next 12 months could be very rewarding for the faithful and all those that will dive in on the first sniff of positive data. So how do I convey all that I have read and learnt from this BB about Scancell and their complex but fascinating technology. Hi Knowlesi I'm hoping not to end up looking stupid in trying to answer your question about the MM's (tree shake) but I'll put my opinion forward. The MM's don't just match buys with sells they are the Market Makers and use the spread and adjustments in the price to encourage trading, no doubt the odd trade goes through, 'tactically adjusted' even though it shouldn't. But we are all grown ups here, so we know it probably happens. If someone wanted to buy a large amount of shares and pre-agreed a price its up to the MM's to gather those shares at the lowest possible cost price, so by using all of their various 'skills' they induce trades, which I think is what is commonly know as "a tree shake". Good to read that Steve Couldwell CEO, is to return full time in June. Whatever the reason for his timeout it is good to hear that's he's back soon. The comment that the company, in his absence and has "continued developments within the Boards Expectations" is also fantastic. That's the first glimpse that sales are still increasing on budget. Means breakthrough to Profitability is on track for 2020. Thats why I'm invested and its very positive. Chester.

Hi Esmerelda, Yes my thoughts entirely. The first cohort of three patients started to show improved acuity after a few weeks. So by the fact that it acted so quickly last time, I do expect the trial clinicians to be already aware of any improvements in the second group of three. The 2nd cohort of patient's eye sight had better acuity to start with, maybe it will take a little longer to see similar improvements. So it is about the right time to hear any positive outcomes in my humble opinion. Chester

We must be in 'update report' territory..... The effects on the 2nd cohort phase 2 patients will now be apparent to the clinicians. It's just a matter of what criteria has been set or specified in the trial to warrant the meeting of an 'End Point'. I realise that the chosen patients in Cohorts 3 and 4 are yet to have their procedures but I cannot see any commercial reason not to update the market as data becomes apparent. The possibility of a leak either positive or negative must be quite high given the excitement and anticipation surrounding these trials. News end this week or next has got to be a very strong possibility. Chester.

Some updates third quarter, some end 2019 and then a very interesting 2020. There is always the chance of an earlier general news update. These clinical milestones have to be achieved for a product to be approved, frustratingly slow but it's for everyone's safety. Verona Pharma does have all their goals laid out and the confidence that they will succeed does come across as very high. Chester

So we're back at a Market Cap of 100M. Based just on cash in the bank, the recent RP results and the deal with Fosun Pharma that is probably fair value. So, with the buying activity today its very possible that a news update is coming tomorrow. If there isn't an RNS then it's just as important to see the serious buying consolidate the price over £3.00. My prediction was £3.80 / £4.00 before the next positive update so might still be correct. But however it plays out it's exciting to be holding these shares at this point.. Hi Crumbs Thanks for your answer. I just find it very frustrating that we're not able to be told what the hitch is. If it is the TriGrid system that's holding things up I do understand how its not for Scancell to keep us informed. Also it must be even more frustrating for our scientist's knowing that the data would otherwise be flowing. It will be a relief the day we get the FDA's approval, we may even find out what the issue was. Fingers crossed its sorted soon. Chester

I'm posting this again because I'd really like to know other ideas of what the problem is.... I'm still baffled as to what the FDA could be so concerned about in the US SCIB 1 / Checkpoint Inhibitor trial to hold it up by 8 months. It has been said on here that its down to Ichor’s TriGrid 2 delivery system, but what on earth can be so difficult that takes this amount of time to resolve when the UK arm has been approved? Does anyone have a clue what it is??? Chester

I've worked it out they are using the wrong thing, I've said it's 'Tigrig 2' so if they're using that it just won't work. They should be using the correct piece of tech... "Ichor’s TriGrid 2" Then it will probably work just fine. I'll write to the FDA. You just can't get the staff these days.... Lol. Chester
