My point is that without the FDA hold up on the US trial we would be having a very different conversation and sitting at a different share price. So it's the process and time scale of scientific discovery that is the cause for any frustration not the potential of SCIB 1&2 or MODI 1&2. Not saying that it wouldn't be nice if we got the game changing RNS on Monday morning....

I think many come on to this board without a correct understanding of the clinical success of SCIB 1. Scancell have a technology / drug that works and has kept 14 people well for over six years and continuing. Unfortunately they discovered an even more potent mechanism and being a discovery company (not a corner shop) decided to develop the science rather than rush out a less capable action. We're dealing with elite scientists and not money grabbing senior executives of the next fad.... Scancell will commercialise when the science dictates.. ATB... Chester

Thank you for your responses. I'm trying to put some of the puzzle pieces together. There are articles from various sources saying that Biontech have instructed a bank to research a possible Nasdaq IPO later this year estimated at £800m. My thoughts wandered to the possibility that with £800m Biontech would have enough firepower to purchase Scancell. So following that line of thinking they may well resist making any deals in the meantime. Only my thought's but it would make commercial sense... Chester

The Biontech collaboration was announced 9th Jan 2018. I've been looking if there was ever a time limit added. I know someone on here said end of H1 2019 but would be interested to know if that is documented anywhere. Thanks, Chester

If its not a leak from the trials could it be that it's a leak about a potential deal is in the offing. As you say tomorrow is going to be very interesting....

Finally priced above cash reserves.... This is definitely a response to the recent successful trial results. Question for the knowledgeable.. Off the back of those results Rene were given the go ahead to treat three new patients whose eyesight was not as poor as the original three patients. Do you think there could be a leak in the States from that cohort? Obviously a good news leak.... Chester

Patience fatigue.... We know that the Scancell staff will be working flat out everyday, it's that we don't know exactly what their working on or who they are talking to. I think one thing that all long time shareholders can be confident in, is that when the news, we all await, actually lands we will be in the Box Seats. When the discovery of Moditope was first announced and the price shot up, I would never have thought that I would afford the number of shares I now hold. So if you have faith that the technology will be successful then treat the current situation as an opportunity. All the best, Chester

Obviously some people will see the rise as an opportunity to sell at a profit. But... There are also some concerted efforts to build good positions awaiting the next level news. I'm still underwater but getting closer to my breakeven point. Unfortunately I'm not in a position to buy more shares at this point in time which is very frustrating. Chester

The fact that Stem Cells placed in the correct position in the eye have so rapidly improved those patient's ability to read by three levels on a sight test still sounds like science fiction but it's actually now science fact. Also if those improvements continue and stabilise its a massive breakthrough within Stem Cell technology and all credit goes to the Rene team for their belief, dedication and effort. Chester

Not sure the BOD can do anything constructive if their hands are tied due to price sensitive discussions. There are several developments at Scancell that are all poised ready to be fulfilled. How can they come out and give an update if it compromises other positions. So they stay quiet as the regulations say they should. Not saying it isn't frustrating but as PI's we will only get to know when it's time. But, I will be glad when some positive news does drop. Chester

This burst of activity could be speculation with all the Bio Deals going on in this sector. It could also be that a deal is imminent. Either way another 20p a share and I'm just about back to what I paid. I was a bit higher but averaged down when I could. Let's look at the positives. VRP have formulated the dry powder and chosen a delivery system that definitely works. That whole process takes time and money to develop. Very positive in my book. The DPI formulation can be adjusted to increase or decrease the effects of the drug so they seem to have also got that right first time. Another positive. So I think at last we are on verge of having a viable and valuable product. Chester

That kind of money smacks of and Institutional buyer taking a position because no other Investor wants to part with any. Just my opinion because whoever it is must have deep pockets. Long may it continue.....

I was in OXB when the price was around 2.5p and someone kept on buying blocks of 500k shares. Three months later news broke and it rose rapidly. This feels very similar. Its going to be very interesting to watch if the buying continues next week and If it does how can they hold the price under 60p?? Chester
