Good news about the CFO position and seems like a good man for the job. Plenty of experience in the most important areas for Tissues Regenix. Also taking up his post a month earlier than planned so pretty enthusiastic as well. I'm surprised there hasn't been more posts about it on this board. I do realise it's a waiting game at the moment but I would really like to hear a bit more from the company about how things are progressing. Chester

I commented on this at the end of last week. I would not be surprised if the company have been jumping through hoops trying to achieve FDA approval prior to the AGM. The two months news silence and the slightly delayed AGM date both point to them trying their level best to make it happen. The powers that be at Scancell will be just as disappointed as all of us investors. Chester

Thanks for pointing that out I hadn't realised that when KCB left that there was no other Investor representatives on the board. I know if I had that kind of money tied up I'd want to have a seat at the table. ( In my dreams....) Still convinced it won't be an Institutional Investor who sold. We know there are a few private investors holding a few million shares each. I get the feeling that someone has lost patience, after all, with the excitement of presentations at the beginning of the year, we all felt that are journey with Scancell was on the up and up. Really can't see an institutional investor selling because the FDA need more information. Don't forget most large shareholders have a seat on the board. Just my thoughts on today's debacle Chester

Just a heads up on the price the buy price is 7.99p so couldn't resist..... I know it's stupid to try and catch a falling knife but there is just too much value in Scancell down the line, not add something at this level. I think anyone who's been holding for sometime must like me feel 'a little punch drunk' as I never thought we would ever fall below 10p. Tuesdays AGM is now a real hot potato. I'm trying understand the strategy of no news for a couple of months, the AGM a little later than usual and then this news a few days before. It feels like they really tried their level best to get the FDA approval before the AGM but just couldn't make it happen. Anyway will know soon enough. Chester

VanVan Through genetic mutations cancer cells gain the ability to hide in plain site from our own killer T-Cells. Checkpoint Inhibitors take the brakes off the Immune System which in simple terms makes the T Cells much more sensitive and able to attack the cancer cells. Problem is that this can cause toxicity as the T Cells can then wrongly target our own healthy cells. Also, the CI's only work in 30% of people so how do you improve on the effectiveness? The combination trials that are currently in vogue are investigating chemo-therapy and CI's to both weaken the cancer and attack with the immune system 'brakes-off'. As can expect the toxicity is greatly increased but holy grail is a combi that works in say 60% of people. So when a stand alone Modi 1 is shown to improve the percentage to 60% + and without the toxicity it will be the game changer. The value of Checkpoint Inhibitor Treatments is currently over £100 Billion a year. That's why it is so amazing to follow, study and be a small part of Scancell's journey. Hi Matt My take is that the Brexit uncertainty has definitely had an effect on any share that isn't actually making money or is at an early stage such as Scancell. The Market Makers like dropping the price on very little volume because the disgruntled sometimes quit the stock which is exactly how the MM's like it. This share will bounce on any smell of good news and the current share price should be welcomed as a way to build a decent stake in what may become a very important company in the battles against cancer. It is frustrating but just way up all of incredibly valuable moving pieces that is Scancell 2018. Patience here has a good chance of being repaid handsomely. Just my opinion but it is based on what I have read and learnt. Chester

I don't have as much technical background as some excellent posters of here, but there is a very important distinction that separates Scancell's Tech from the plethora of other companies scrambling to own a slice of the Immunotherapy market. Roughly speaking, the current breakthrough Checkpoint Inhibitors only work in 40% of people and only 15% of those stay cancer free at 5 years. Plus they do have some toxic side affects, you can research that info. Scancells breakthrough causes stress within the cancer cells which is exactly what some of our killer T Cells act upon. The science is amazing, the Lab work in mice is stunning and all we now await is the critical data from a human trial. These things cannot be rushed but now is fantastic opportunity to buy in at a stupidly low price. Please do some reading and research of your own. ATB Chester

Thanks for your thoughts Nomlungu. I presumed that once they reach breakeven the pressure is off to raise new finance. Are you assuming that a placing would be sort to expand on the current manufacturing capability and excellerate the growth the company even faster?

The worth of TRX is currently £102M, So what I would like to know is, what will it be worth once we go past break-even. Say they make £3m profit in 2021? Anyone know or can comment?

How can we possibly know what discussions and dynamics are being played out. Scancell is by all accounts is a very small team, burdened with an incredibly wide range of treasures to both administer and continue to reasearch. What questions are CRUK asking? What questions are Biontech asking? What amount of time is being devoted to the Grand Challenge? Most importantly in all this "what is the most effective pathway to realise LD's dream" ? We just don't know. As is the same for all of us, I do hope at the AGM we are given some points or clarity because it will definitely help us understand the timelines and why. I am very happy to hold until told. Chester

Scancell the company will have more pressing concerns other than the current SP. A) Ensuring the drug / trial details meet all regulations. B) Keeping on top of all their current collaborations. C) Most probably discussing various commercial pathways. D) Ensuring all of Scancell employees are coping with their very full workloads. The share price at this time can only be a distraction from the commercial goals and target dates already committed to and set in motion. My point is that anyone holding these shares as an investor must find a level of patience. We are now approaching some very important development points on the road to finally proving what could be a major new treatment for all sorts of cancers. Don't begrudge the journey it's the quality of final results that are paramount. Chester.

Having bought a chunk of shares yesterday I obviously took the incorrect view that the lack of recent news meant that we could have been given some important updates today. My hunch was totally wrong, but reading the RNS just shows how many fronts this relatively small company are dealing with. I will go and see a doctor about my premature speculation problem but still feel this is potentially a very special company to be invested in. I also take heart from all the positive comments on this board. Chester.

I agree that any significant rise will come on results in the clinic, but Scancell's protected technology now seems to be fitting in with all sorts of major advancements in the immuno / cancer treatments. My hunch is that there are many potential private investors sitting on the wings just waiting for some positive news. The chances are that we learn some interesting facts and figures tomoz.
